both are schizophrenic comedic fever dreams where absurdity and violence run rampant (although the violence is a bit more graphic in BTD). BTD is also more sexualized/fanservice-y. there are times in both shows, that i quite truthfully got them confused one time trying to remember a scene, where there are absurd situations that happen and the main character says to the affect "is anyone else seeing this" but everyone else acts like it isn't happening or that it's completely normal. if you find laughter in absurdity and over-the-top situations, this might just be for you.
