'Guild no Uketsukejou desu ga, Zangyou wa Iya nanode Boss wo Solo Toubatsu Shiyou to Omoimasu' Reveals Main Cast, Additional Staff, First Promo, Winter 2025 Premiere

The Aniplex x Kadokawa Anime Festival livestream revealed the main cast, additional staff, key visual (pictured), and the first promotional video for the television anime adaptation of Mato Kousaka's Guild no Uketsukejou desu ga, Zangyou wa Iya nanode Boss wo Solo Toubatsu Shiyou to Omoimasu (I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time) light novel on Friday. The anime was previously announced for 2024 and is now scheduled to premiere in January 2025.

Rie Takahashi (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) and Kentarou Kumagai (Dungeon Meshi) are starring as Alina Clover and Jade Skrade, respectively.

Tsuyoshi Nagasawa (Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san) is directing the anime at CloverWorks. Misuzu Chiba (Aikatsu Planet!) is handling the series composition. Yoshihiro Nagata (Shine Post) and Shinichi Machida (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken (TV)) are designing the characters.

Kousaka submitted the story at the 27th Dengeki Novel Awards and won the Gold Prize in October 2020. Kadokawa began publishing the light novel under the Dengeki Bunko label, with illustrations by Gaou. The seventh volume shipped in June 2023.

A manga adaptation by Suzu Yuuki began serializing in Dengeki Daioh magazine in June 2021. The fourth volume went on sale in February 2024.

Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga in English this April. The fourth volume of the light novel is scheduled to release on October 15 and the third manga volume shipped on June 18.
