I'm a relatively new anime fan, who primarily watches seasonal anime.
I've used the priority feature to be more precise with scoring the anime I've watched.
For example an anime with score 8 and priority High is like having a score of 8+.
Alternatively, you can translate the scores into decimal:
X+ => X.15 - X.5
X => (X-1).85 - X.15
X- => (X-1).5 - (X-1).85
So, my (to the best of my ability) sorted anime list is this:
https://myanimelist.net/animelist/gorkthe134th?order=4&order2=11&status=7
(Sorting by priority seems to work only on desktop, unfortunately)
Also, to make things easier, I am allowing myself only one anime per franchise in my favorites. The chosen anime represent the franchise they are part of and franchises are what's ranked in the list. Respectively, I have chosen only one character per franchise in order to be more inclusive and not let the plot influence my character choices too much.
Exception:
* In Kaguya-sama there is a really underrated character I wanted to include in my favorites
