| It's a shame this is over it was such a nice show i am going to miss it. The last arc was intense compared to the previous arcs but i looked forward to every episode with this anime. Anyway i hope we will get a bit more of this in the future but i guess time will tell if that actually happens. |

| I'm actually so happy most examinees passed. I thought that besides Fern, only Übel would pass. I remember when I first saw Denken, I thought he's just some prideful and selfish noble. To think that I'll come to love him so much now. 10:52 Böse is "evil; malicious; wicked" Same with Wirbel. Everyone probably said this a million times already, but it's amazing how they made everyone in the exam important and likable. 21:09 The most ancient uwu to ever uwu The ending nearly made me cry. 10/10 A masterpiece. And this was so consistently amazing. Not a thing I can pick on. At the end of the episode it's written "The Journey to Ende continues.", so we can be 99.99% sure that season 2 is coming. (The official Twitter account also posted the same thing) Also it was nice to see that everyone is really calm most of the time. We're used to anime characters being super-expressive and emotional, so this was refreshing. |

| Serie is the ultimate Frieren hater. Even that kinda rubbed on Lernen a little. I loved Methode first impression of Serie. 3 old characters, 3 that kinda adopt a kid to be their grandchildren. |

| That was such a laid back ending. Of course, Fern would pick a spell like that just like her teacher lol. I also loved learning more about the other characters like Denken, Wirbel, Lerner and Serie. The images at the ending credits and wrapping up with Frieren and Himmel flashbacks as if they're talking to one another was so satisfying. I love this amazing series so much. I can't wait for more. |

| This is an anime like no other. Slow paced, but never made me feel bored. Now that it ended, I actually realized I liked this show more than I thought I did. |
| Frieren: Beyond Journey's End started strong and kept at it for six months until the very end. Also the rating went from 9.18 rating last episode to 9.30 rating as of writing this! What an absolute peak fiction! |

| NO MORE FRIEREN FRIDAYS NOOOOO ๐ญ GOOD NEWS THOUGH...  CONTINUATION OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED BABY!!!! LETSFUCKING GOOOOOOO God I'm gonna miss watching frieren every weekend man :( Just as expected, that was quite a great way to end season 1. I'm truly gonna miss Frieren and everyone in this show. They made every week enjoyable. I've never watched anything like this show. Truly nothing hits the same as this show does. How can such a simple fantasy story be so compelling, so endearing, and so beautiful. I don't get it. Frieren is one of the most passion filled anime I've ever seen, next to A silent voice. Just, how passionate everything is done in the show, you can just tell how much everyone working on it loved making it. The genius director, Keiichiro Saito. The art design, character design, environment, animation, everything, and everyone who worked on Frieren are amazing at what they do. Madhouse has definitely kicked it out of the waters with Frieren, and I'm so glad they are back like never before. 10/10 |

| This anime started off pretty good with the first half, but the anime went down in quality once they defeated the demons/Aura. imo this anime suffers the most from having a very interesting world but is filled with mostly boring characters. ( Ubel is an exception, and man she was great ) Overall a decent anime with some great production value behind it. 6/10 |

| Another great episode. Loved seeing the rest of the test takers like Ubel and Land pass and seeing that Serie isn't as cold to her students as she might've led on to be. The smaller bits like Fern and Stark eating with Denken and Laufen or Frieren chatting with Wirbel we're also really nice as well. The contents in this episode really did culminate all into what is a solid stopping point for now. I'm immensely sad that it's over but eternally grateful that Madhouse gave one of my all time favorite manga's such a stellar adaptation. Can only hope to see the trio again, continuing their journey someday in the near future. Easily a 10/10 |

| A really pleasant and satisfying conclusion to wrap up the first season of Frieren and it has been a wonderful journey overall. It's been a rollercoaster of 6 months but I'm glad to have been a part of the weekly airing for this as it is recognized as a classic in the long run. A near flawless adaptation as a whole, taking material that was really good and elevating it to new heights with how great the production was from start to finish, whether with the drawings, the animation of fights and dance scenes, the music, the direction, all consistent and stellar throughout. It was my favorite anime last year and glad to see it maintain that consistency towards the end. A couple episodes were a bit slow, some moments did drag a bit, some Himmel flashbacks weren't too necessary at times for every single thing that Frieren and her party have been doing at times and I would've liked a bit more of Stark and his journey being showcased as Frieren and Fern are focused on the exams. But those are very minor nitpicks considering how many things this anime has done right throughout. I will miss this for sure, and hopefully Keiichiro Satou, the staff and Madhouse will be back soon with another season eventually. After contemplating for a bit, I won't put it in my top 10 anime of all time since I just have stronger emotional connections to those that have me ponder and care about it a little bit more than this series, but it's not far off at all considering how it nailed everything it set to do and did it in a superb manner. Overall, hats off to everyone involved with this and I can't wait to rewatch this in a binge format after a while. |

| Wow. I can't believe it's over. I'm gonna miss Frieren a lot. When I watched the first 4 or so episodes I thought it was a bit boring. I was wondering how could I care about characters who were already dead in the first few episodes. How wrong I was. The use of flashbacks in this series is so good. I think it's the little things in this series that really got me. I loved how Frieren and the others talked about seemingly mundane things. The world and characters felt so real despite being a fantasy setting. I'm not sure if it's a character design thing but all the characters seem like they're bored or half-asleep all the time... In both looks and voice acting. But that also makes the parts where they're more expressive that much better. Honestly, it reminds me of Mitsuru Adachi's works like Touch and Cross Game. Even though all these anime seemingly have basic character faces they somehow convey better emotions than 90% of anime and also feel more human. Of course, Madhouse's animation is also part of what makes this anime so great. I doubt this series would even reach half its recognition without it. So I really hope we will get a Season 2 from them very soon. I'm not sure if I can wait for too long. Frieren is so freaking good. It's been a while since I watched a new anime that made feel this good. I really hope we'll get a sequel sooner rather than later. And like most anime I hope it doesn't fall off or anything... It has to be good. Again, I'm going to miss Frieren a lot... |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| I will now proceed to enter a state of depression until we get (hopefully positive) Re:Zero information on Sunday. In all seriousness, this show has been a weekly part of my life for nearly half a year and not a single episode didn't live up to my expectations. We were truly witnessing a modern classic and a second season cannot come fast enough. |
