| I don't think anyone should be surprised that Ririsa ended up being at the center of attention this episode. I mean, what she's wearing is eyecatchy especially to the guys. This was also her first photo session so it's an important step in her career. Looks like she's aiming to go to more events including the Summer Comiket. The love teases were priceless. It's going to be a recurring gag as it's still too early for a romantic relationship but there's so many teases. |

| Ririsa literally had a save from the other cosplayers in her Lilliel cosplay, capturing everyone's attention for the final 10 minutes of Summer CosFest, that even Magino's photographer Okina doesn't want to betray his real otaku feelings, even helping Okumura to manage the crowd while Ririsa gets her poses on, with Ogino being a hardcore Lilliel fan to see that Ririsa is not a pro, but someone who exudes Lilliel from head to toe being her first semi-professional photoshoot. And when it came time to Okumura, he's OK with whoever Ririsa is being in Lilliel's character. Ririsa IS popular with both the audience and the cosplayers, though the sharing of the horror stories from the latter group having their cosplay accessories strewn all around their homes and the like, even Akito brandishing herself has an Ikemen has her own worries as well. Even Ririsa feels bad that she has Mikari be her fashion designer, but the experience she's learnt from her very first event will bring her to new heights with the upcoming Summer Comiket. The ruffle shorts that Ririsa needs to return to the "elf lady", she's fine and all, but the fellow cosplyer of Mayura a.k.a Milky Succubus quitting after that, there's no reason for Ririsa to stop now, participating in more events to come, and maybe chancing upon Mayura again. It's all thanks to Okumura, as Ririsa begins having genuine feelings for him...as a cosplay partner. Welp, getting rejected in and out, Okumura thankfully still gets to keep his 2D love going...and Ririsa just wants to do more cosplaying. Yeah, it's DEFINITELY not (NOT) love, isn't it? |

| The random ladies at the station that helped Ririsa yell out for an Elf onee-san without questioning it too much are unsung heroes Yes, those two are idiots and they can deny it from being a """real""" confession all they want but I don't care. That was adorable. |

| Was a fun episode. Especially love how they made Sugita Chara more important by helping with the picture taking and the monologues. Hope to see him more. And that train scene... I knew they were baiting but is it wrong to hope for actual confession... Also, the full ED is out for anyone who want to listen. There's a "rap part" in the 2nd verse, it's a great listen. |
| Ririsa/Lilliel stole the show as expected. Ririsa couldn't able sell any Cosrom but she sure did capture attention of the people. Okino also recognised how much attention to detail her cosplay of Lilliel was. Okamura got the best shot at the end though.  Cosplayers were wholesome and supportive as usual. These interactions had made this last episodes so good. Obviously there gonna be no confession so early. As soon as she said she like him, was waiting for the catch. Bro got partner zoned. Both of them clearly like each other denying it and seemed relived about it😭😭 Last panel was perfect both are idiots. Still they are so cute together, perfect for eachother |
| Last week everyone avoided Ririsa and Okumura table like the plague and this week we have the opposite problem. It’s too popular, everyone and their mom had their breath taken away by Lilliel’s cosplay and wanted a picture. I know ririsa was really nervous with such a big crowd but how awkward and innocent she was actually made her even more of a hit! Seeing her little backstory about her mom not accepting her cosplays and supporting her made me feel even better about the attention Ririsa got. It’s not easy to do something when you got no one at home to support, Okumura has kinda filled that void in her life. Happy she’s doing what she loves to do! But holy shit I’m sorry ririsa but that fashion sense is horrendous 😭 that fit was atrocious. There’s gotta be a happy middle ground between dressing skimpy and how she normally does, but S/O to Mikarin for helping her get a fit together Even though they didn’t sell any cosroms this was still a massive success because they have experience in attending a com, have made connections with other cosplayers and have fans who will be looking for her at the next one. Just make sure to make some actual posters and promo material next time! “I’ve started feeling weird around you. My heart beats fast” figured we wouldn’t get a proper confession but damn they had me going for a min there. Even Okumura was almost ready to throw away his vow to not date 3D girls if that confession came lmao Great episode I can’t wait for the summer com! |

| I was surprised by such an early confession; it got me excited, but they turned out to be idiots. The little romantic development they had was ruined by a poor perception of their feelings. Hopefully, there will be some real progress next time. Lilysa stole the show, though they still have a lot to learn. They could use the unsold DVDs for the summer Comiket and be better prepared, maybe even create social media accounts or something like that. I liked the stories of the other cosplayers; they were very kind to Lilysa. I hope to see them again soon. |

| Lilliel aka Ririsa ended up stealing the show after all, they went from being made fun of to not being able to catch a break lol, but it was really nice seeing Ririsa get so much attention for her cosplay, even being regarded as seemingly perfect by a cosplay reviewer, her inexperience played a big role in it too. And man, that finger gun scene was a perfect way to cap off the photo shoot, and it was aimed at none other than Okumura, definitely a defining moment for the two of them. I really liked the bits with the other cosplayers afterward too, they really are a wholesome bunch helping each other out like that, the stories they shared were great too, loved the “The Ring” reference even with a Sakako name drop, and the whole seven boyfriends thing with the cosplayer that cosplays male characters was hilarious lol. And later Ririsa met up with that elf cosplayer, and it was a nice moment but it also revealed that the cosplayer that inspired Ririsa to start cosplaying is no longer doing it, my money is on the glasses lab coat babe from the OP and ED but we’ll probably see if that’s true or not eventually. And damn, they had us in the first half ngl with that confession lol, of course it makes sense we wouldn’t get one this early, there would pretty much be no contest for Mikari, but that would have been wild if they went for it. For now tho, we got a great cosplayer and partner duo, I’m excited to see how they prep for the next event. |

| Aho Aho Those 2 are idiots indeed hahaha The photo gang-up and perverts here make me really not want to cosplay but everything else I loved. Everyone had such nice outfits and hard such good time. Nice group photo. Super funny how the pretty trap's mother thought she had 7 boyfriends at one time LOL, and only had the problem with the leather jacket one LOL Yikes, places/people that discriminate because of things like cosplay in this case are disgusting. It's tough, want to work in a toxic unprofessional place that focuses on wrong things, or not get paid... struggle. Mikari would have been devastated if they actually confessed love to eachother, instead she still has idiot target and new idiot friend. The dancing in end is such a vibe. 4/5, liked everything except gang-up, perverted comments, and reminder of stupid job discrimination (Ririsa also got bullied by her mom it sounded like Q_Q). |

| Well, at least Mikari still has a chance since Ririsa is in denial on her true feelings. However, I can see Ririrsa getting upset and/or jealous with Mikari or any other girl that may flirt with Okumura, kind of how he got a bit jealous on the thought of other guys seeing Ririsa had she sold some cosroms. On that note I wonder how that will be handled when she inevitably gets more popular and sells some. |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |
| I'm starting to like this series more and more, but they almost had me with that early confession until Ririsa and Okumura manged to cockblock each other. No way that confession was going to let that ship sail otherwise the manga would have been over in three volumes which was the original intention. It was cute seeing Ririsa and Okumura being self aware of each other's feelings even though it was misunderstanding. With the Spring cosplay event over, Ririsa has gain some valuable experience on the do's and don't from other experienced cosplayers. Ririsa is looking forward to doing the annual Summer Comiket event which is actually taking place next weekend from August 11-12. | Ririsa is living the dream in this episode. Open up to other cosplayers, making friends, really fullfilling herself in her hobby. It's really nice to see her so happy, especially with the backstory, that she was judged for her hobby - a situation that probably the most of us have already experienced in real life. So now's Summer Comiket coming up - oh, and so much more. Feels a little funny to go back to see how everything started, when Manga is already 5 years in the run and Anime just adapted a small extract of the big things, coming up. | I recall seeing a comment or two saying that this episode is where the real story begins. And now I understand why. The cosplay aspect was in full force during this installment. - Glad we got to see Ririsa's cosplay during the event. I was concerned with the episode's title that it was going to do a time skip to after the event. - Well that was a change of heart from Ogino. The level of authenticity Ririsa gave to her cosplay was enough to turn him from an annoying twat to a believer. - The authenticity extended to Ririsa's poses, which were exact replicas from the manga, anime, key art, and even one-off pages and panels. That helped quell any criticism of Ririsa's inexperience. - Aw man, turns out Ririsa's mom is not in support of her hobby. ☹️ She had to toughen it up on her own... until Okumura showed up. - I also enjoyed the cosplayer story time segment. Wig in the bathtub, and wig on a TV with static can cause a fright under the right circumstances. 🙃 - Ririsa's usual fashion sense was exposed. Mikari did a great job helping with Ririsa's "casual" appearance for the event. - Some random strangers shouting "Elf Lady" to aid Ririsa was totally unexpected. And all just to return some women's undies. 🙃 - The ending was the icing on the cake. It made me LOL. Ririsa "cosplay partner"-zoned Okumura. 🤣 |
| I dont think i could do what Ririsa did. Would feel weird to suddenly have a bunch of strangers take pics of you especially flash on ughhhhh how do her eyes manage the flashing light assault. Flash makes for bad photos in many cases too. Ugh I hate parents like her mom being overly protective and controlling. Ooft that ending with the false confession. |

Mhmm, I must've admit, I never saw photo gang-ups on Conventions. But never attended a Con in Japan, so it's probably not the same in every country. I'm scared around people but there are some that happen nearby my area (10 miles and 70 miles) sometimes, I'll likely go at some point (not cosplaying though most likely, too much of a bum LOL At one I went to they had a contest I think and maybe had shoots of certain groups, since there were lots of Nezuko's from demon slayer at the time I think. |

This is not an unusual practice. When you don the costume expect anyone and everyone to come in and ask to take a photo of you. If your costume really stands out on a pro level then expect all eyes to be on you. And conventions that have a big cosplay presence will have their own photography stands and locations for everyone to use. Granted I've never seen ones with a time limit as depicted in this episode but it's common sense to know not to take the entire place for yourself. |

| The crowd did not think much of Ririsa selling blank cover roms of an old character, but now she got changed, everyone wants photos. Noticed Ogino speaks like a samurai. The hardcore have recognised she's transcended cosplaying and become the character. At first she had no idea which direction in the semi-cricle to look but it was in senpai's direction that she would give the pose Liliel would give Ashford. Lmao cosplay horror stories. Ririsa suffering from success with her rack Elf-oneesan is an O.L. They are both idiots |
