| Another masterful episode. There's so much that I like. Nice to see power levels of everyone. Also intersting that Bam is unbreakable on his desire to not take anyone. So I wonder if someone says they'll join FUG, he'll take them with him? Btw it was funny how the proctor was eating chicken in the middle of the exam lol. |

Mostly solid but the last few min were disappointing ngl. Way too condensed af, skipped the entire bath scene where the very new characters in the series were bonding a bit and trying to speak to Viole there (which made more sense with how Wangnan dropped the ring) as well as the convo with the test admin and the director being rushed to create a cliffhanger. There definitely be pacing issues in this season too from how it looks.

Ngl after reading the comments I went to see the spoiler ed on youtube and yeah that was stupid of whoever made that. What a massive oversight of probably some poor tired intern, lol. Not a spolier for me though because I already read this part of Tower of God. IT felt more like a refresher because I couldn't remember how the story exactly played out. But yeah if you don't want to get spoiled don't watch the ed, they literally beat for beat tell the how the story progresses then ends. Look if you wanted to save money for an ed just play the credits for the animators or some shit.
Overall the episode was fine, felt like they really missed some comedic beats here and there, like they could've added a little extra spice "animation" to sell the joke. Like the silver dude wanting candy, it was missing that extra punch. Otherwise lots of tension and characters one upping each other.

Episode 2 was much better than episode 1, visually. The opening is very uninspired, though.
| @Gabu-sama I feel the opposite about the op and being uninspired lol. Dont think its peak by any means but a show like this normally has sakuga and just action scenes plenty which can get repetitive after a while when see many like a solo leveling, jjk, demon slayer, jigokuraku, etc. They did try something different and creative with their approach, even if it feels cheaper and more limited compared to what normally is seen in some ways. |

| Still can’t get over the art style change it’s just sooo jarring. Season 1 had such a unique and cool vibe going on and now it looks like an adult swim/toonami style 😭 like that opening scene of Rachel had no aura whatsoever. Speaking of that scene, it seems like Bam misses his old life or at least the people in it. The way Rachel’s story of the tower’s builder went it felt like Bam reflecting on how lonely he is on this journey. He was such a warm and kind boy before so being in this whole FUG thing has to feel pretty sad. I knew he was gonna say none of the other test takers were worthy to go with him, but everyone getting on their knees and begging him with sob stories had me crying man. Ja has no shame whatsoever, I respect it Looks like the test proctor will try some shit next week to stop Bam? After a slower episode today I’m looking forward to more action |

| Bam's time with Rachel, really just screws his mind quite a lot. Wangnan sure has both frenemies participating in the same test, though the moneylender of Kim Lurker has mercenaries under him working to climb the tower a well, aside from the Yeon Family's flamethrower, Yihwa. A physical test to decide the Top 8, it may seem boring on the surface, but clearly Prince and the others have not seen the likes of Viole yet, who's undoubtedly the strongest Regular around...to take 1st place and choose another 7 people to take the test alongside him. Wangnan may be all desperate for Viole to choose him, and the group before Prince all follow up, trying to win his sympathy. Sure, Viole alone as part of FUG can suffice climbing the Tower, and even when he has no need for teammates, the game administrator strikes a deal to decide that fate...because he has a grudge against the group as well. What a series of developments, but still kinda slow. |

| Damn, Baam... I mean Jyu Viole Grace is insanely powerful. I doubt he can win against a Ranker in a direct fight, but with this new animation style, they can make the action scenes really exciting. I like Ja Wangnan, and I think his goal of destroying the 10 Families will help him climb the Tower and become a great character. I can't wait to learn more about FUG and its members. P.S. Screw you, Rachel. |

| Ja reminds me of the guy from S1 that was teamed up with Anaak (the weak guy) in so far as he doesn't seem that powerful but provides some comedic relief, so based on that he may get picked as one of the 7 if Bam loses the test against the proctor chicken loving guy because it may also remind Bam of him or another previous character. |
