| The forest is safe now thanks to Sakuna. Thanks to Sakuna's efforts, there were fewer sightings of demons near the mountain pass. This meant that others, besides Sakuna, could go to the nearby forest and streams to gather food, allowing them to divide the work. However, there was still a shortage of hands for rice cultivation. So, they decided to ask Ashigumo for help and seek the cooperation of the kappas living near the stream. But that's when the kappas saw Myrthe. Another beast defeated, and back to normal we are. |

| That was the cutest kappa I have ever seen. ^^ I really like Myrthe. She's the most interesting character so far. She's also very beautiful, now that we got to see her properly for the first time. |

| Myrthe's teaching of the Formos faith about gods, Sakuna defintely is not one god to boast about. Yanato's vast lands have different gods, and Myrthe has her times of knowledge to share to everyone, though the problem is still Kinta goofing around. Thankfully, from Sakuna's efforts, there're less demons now, but still, knowing their origin is one mission, and the rice growing is another, which both Sakuna and Tama request Ashigumo to help, though he's the only one left whilst everyone else ran away from the demons. So, they need to think of an alternate plan, though Yui still keeps her concern on Kinta to look out for him just in case. On the search for demons, Sakuna and the others find a kappa, though it doesn't seem happy that the gang is invading their land, for them to be chased out. In the similar way, Kinta is pretty much similar to Myrthe, because the more knowledge she tries to learn, she gets chased out rather quick. But Sakuna and the gang going to seet he kappas where Yui totally understands them, Myrthe's in trouble for getting lost, and it has to be a demon eating kappas that Sakuna has to deal with, that apparently is due to the colour of her eyes that are similar to those of the demon catfish. One good thing is that Kinta finally concedes to Sakuna, wanting to try and forge blades. And with the help of the kappas, the rice growing is in good progress. Forgot to say this last episode, but Sakuna is easily IMO P.A. Works's best of the 3 shows they have this season, there's no discounting it. |

| Sakuna already began the episode suffering damage. Myrthe saying she is just a angel, and Kinta saying that he thought Sakuna was a boy. "She have blue eyes like the evil catfish! She is the enemy!" -Kappas The dog helpers. 2 bosses down, and we got to see Myrthe without her coif, which wasn't in the game. Nice. |

| Show's slowly be gettin better as time goes on. Pretty relaxing so far while potential for growth there too. |

| I don't know what kinda Japanese Kinta and Yui were talking but it's kinda cute and respectful. Kappas my friends finally made their appearance in this anime too. Lol Hmm some information about Myrthe. That's great! |

| Myrthe's backstory was a welcome one, as it shows us more about what she believes in and how she traveled to different places to teach to other people in different nations about the teachings of the religion she believes in, although it did show us that not everyone was happy about it. It does make me respect her more for how dedicated she is while still having a smile on her face. =) She also played a huge part in helping out the Kappas as they were all attacked by a demon. Thanks to her surprise poison attack, she gave Sakuna the perfect opportunity to defeat the demon. For a short while, seeing Myrthe without her coif was a beautiful sight indeed. Not only did the group save the Kappa, who're know helping to tend to the rice fields, but it was nice to see Kinta to show respect to Sakuna at the end. The next episode's title has his name on it, so I look forward to seeing more of his character development. |
| some progress in this chapter, not only we know that they are ok with medicine knowledge with myrthe but now they have the kappa to help in the rice fields, there was some kinta in this chapter and he got humble to get what he wants and start a forge, is a win win situation for sukuna. She gets better items and kinta stops being a brat if he is happy. |

| This anime is really enjoyable to watch. Love how all the characters are developing slowly. |
| I have complained before that the human characters are useless and unlikable, but in this episode they seem to be revealing some hidden skills and even some personal motivations. We apparently have a medic, a yokai interpreter, and even some help in combat (poison). Also, Kinta seems to be trying to contribute with metalworking, despite his attitude problem, so that's good. Not a bad place to be at Episode 4. |

| Myrthe keeps reminding me of this world's closest analogue or stand-in for a 17th century Dutch person around the era of the Japanese sakoku policy. |
| While Sakuna is a spoiled brat I think they are all a bit ungrateful. Until now that is. |
