Step 1: Smuggle in chewing gum
Step 2: Put it somewhere after you are done chewing it.

You'll experience the glorious stick-beating of Singapore.

You should try visiting Bali after Singapore, if traveling

If you're a fan of Cowboy Bebop,

I guess there's always stuff like Sentosa Island, Gardens By The Bay, Orchard Road, the Flyer (which I don't recommend personally. I remember it being really noisy inside those capsules and you're stuck there for like half an hour). Heck, even at Changi Airport, there's tons of things to do. But there's plenty of off-the-beaten-path stuff you can explore and discover as well.

Maybe you should go to one of those street food vendors that have Michelin stars or something xD (that's what I heard anyway)

1. FOOD

- Explore as many hawker centers as you can

- Bakeries

This is but 1 of the yummy bakeries you can find in SG

- Ice Cream

If you come across one of these vv

- Singapore also has a good selection of japanese food, so be a weeb and stuff your face with sushi

2. Activities

- If you looking to explore singapore culture visit a peranakan museum

- Pay your respects to the Merlion

- Now for the fun stuff

-- Aqua Adventure

-- Orchard Central Adventure Park

-- You don't need to smuggle in chewing gum, you can win contraband chewing gum at this arcade

-- Check out cinema times for Golde Village and Shaw Theaters, you might find an anime movie that hasn't been released where you are :3

3. Shop till you drop

You're here on MAL, so i assume you'll be interested to know that singapore is anime merch paradise! (it's also bootleg paradise so good luck 👍)

Here's some shops where you can find official merch

- Don Don Donki (yes same place where you get sushi, not all locationa have a merch section though, happy exploring!)
- Think
-- at Funan
- Hakken
-- at Plaza Singapura
- Daiso
- Popular
- Otaku House
-- at Suntec City & Plaza Singapura
- La Tendo
-- at Suntec City
- Pokémon Center
-- at The Jewel

Enjoy!!

@DigiCat I have 2 questions.

1. Since you seem to be a local in Singapore, what Singaporean alcoholic beverages do you recommend for a prospective tourist like me? I would drink in a hotel suite, not in a restaurant nor anywhere else.

2. Are Singaporean locals capable of understanding Bahasa Indonesia? I'm sort of a speak of that language at an intermediate level over the past 2 years out of sheer fun because I simply despise Tagalog grammar.

1. That would be pretty hard to answer since i've yet to find an alcoholic beverage i actually like (also alcohol is bloody expencive in singapore so it's not somewhere i'd recommend getting wasted)

2. Not sure, possibly, but english is the official language in singapore so you won't have any trouble comunicating
Other official languages malay, hokkien, tamil

@iwasaloneforever House very expencive? You living in private condo then lah

Can get full meal at hawker center for under 5$, soooo expencive

Car expencive, car also no need, got MRT and bus everywhere super reliable and affordable

You don't want go to jail? Very simple, be civilized and flush the jamban

Of course no where perfect, not even singapore, but try staying in other countries and have something to compare before saying things that make you sound blur like sotong

Still an economic powerhouse in Southeast Asia to remind the people in the world that the Philippines is a failed state.

I like that @DigiCat suddenly turned patriot and started using Singaporean slang upon hearing 🇸🇬 get mentioned haha.

Looks pretty amazing, would love to come one day. Also that food prices are steal lol.

Update: I spent a month in Singapore and I went to the hawkres, and dailied the activesg near Jurong lake lmao. It's crazy how almost everywhere there's a pull up bar/ fitness hub in almost corner and within an HDB approximate. Marine bay is crazy it's like an international hub since you can barely see any singaporeans in that area and personally IMM was a goated mall because it sold cheap shoes and branded clothes comparable to Vietnam's prices.

@k4rlo There are one or two other malls near IMM, did you check those out too? They’re pretty modern, but IMM feels more low key and fun to roam around.

@DigiCat thanks for the pointers homie. singaporeans are either very introverted (kinda depressing) but they mean well. The Bengals are a fun bunch I took up on their offer for a drink when I was running then I saw them and did a subtle greeting and we exchanged smiles and rest was history

@JustMaya JEM and Westgate yea, it was on the station entrance and we went to astons and the food was good. Clementi and Jurong malls are superior than suntech and other malls in the downtown marina bay, bugis or chinatown area because it feels like singapore and singaporeans visit those areas for leisure

@k4rlo Haha, even I feel like a tourist whenever I go to Orchard Road or Marina Bay. Definitely feels way different from the local neighborhood malls.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed your time in Singapore.

It's too hot and humid to do anything, according to my buddy on Mydramalist..
He says you get drenched in sweat just from stepping out of the elevator to reach your car in the parking lot..

@RainyEvenings If you're used to dry weather yes, but if you're used to humid weather (even if not as humid or hot as SG) it'll effect you a lot less if at all, my body's actually more adapt to humid than dry weather, so i tend to be perfectly fine when in SG, but sitting outside reading manga with cat and dog for an hour in super dry italain summer... i swear by the end of it it looked like i just got out of the pool 😂
