| I haven't watched a DC show in years so I was a bit hesitant in my start of watching this series. So far the 1st episode was ok and I'm mostly watching for Harley. While I understand that the black lady, Amanda, forced the opening of the portal to another world I'm not sure if the 5 prisoners will still need to follow her orders and if the bombs in their necks are still active, guess those ?s may be answered in future episodes. |

| as someone who has consumed close to no DC content I’m sure real fans of that world will appreciate and catch more than I will watching this having said that—it looks like a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to watching more, I’m especially drawn in by it being an isekai even though I’m not a huge fan of the genre |
| Mn... Well, to start I'm not a Batman fan and I've never watched Suicide Squad. With the exception of pretty much any old school Harley and Joker, I'm not super familiar with these characters. That being said, they should probably be able to stand on their own without knowing their entire lore. And I did get the gist of them. However... I think it's not really enough to just have an isekai. The only real thing we have to look forward to is figuring out what their mission is and figuring out what the world they're in is all about, but as it is right now... it's a pretty generic-looking world that I'm not super interested in learning about in the first place, and I don't actually care too much about their mission. Had Adam not perished, then perhaps he could have helped steer things in a proper direction, but instead we have... well... I honestly don't really know what I'm supposed to look forward to yet. I'm not exactly an isekai fan either, but of the ones I felt worked, I think there's usually an element of wanting to see how things progress in the world the characters are in. This episode didn't really give any of that. With me not being a Batman fan and not being an isekai fan, I do wonder why the heck I tried this out, but in the end I guess I just wanted to try something different. We'll see how it all goes I guess. |
| Interesting first episode... I'm not a fan of DC but I do know Harley Quinn and Joker is a famous villain. Harley Quinn look so pretty~ and that Japan mask girl... She really look young... like a teenager.. Watching this because of Akira Amano sensei character design~ |

| This fucker just called Alice in Wonderland an Isekai. Kill me please... The animation is absolutely FANTASTIC! Did you that fucking DRAGON BRO?!?!?! That's like one of the best fucking dragons ever animated. Also that fight scene between Harley and that swordswoman was amazingly choreographed and animated. Polished af. The Scriptwriter knew what they were doing. Also is that MY BOI DIO for Peacemaker?!!!! I don't even know who the fuck peacemaker is but I'm all in for him to sweep this new world. They went over the top for this pilot episode. I hope they have the budget to keep this up. |

| Harley Quinn, who's at the front and center of it all, is great. Kind of too good though for everything else, which, for lack of a better term at the moment, is feeling pretty mid. Definitely do understand that sub-7 score now. Will watch at least a couple more episodes, but it doesn't look like it'll get any better, which is rather disappointing |

| Warner Bros wanted to expand their anime verse with this season I suppose. Don't know how successful Ninja Batman was, but here we have another batch of DC characters to bolster the roster. There's something about Harley's stare a minute into the show that screams not giving an f. Completely down for it, that one moment captures her very essence. I didn't expect Joker to be owning the piano like this out the gate, but I can respect the skill. That, and duo's seemingly understanding the attraction of another world. Harley is 100% waifu material. The exchange in front of the bar was weirdly.. sweet. In a Joker + Harley kind of way. You know, I've seen these characters on the big screen in their 3D counterparts and I wasn't crazy for em. But now that they're in this anime.. I don't know what to do with that lol. Side Note: Waller not flinching while shrapnel flew by her face was cold The fights were smooth, that's for sure. Harley fights as unorthodox as she typically does, and with goons they're easy to play with. Joker seems an inch less worse than his 3D counterpart. And they got that window into the other world that they spoke about. I can only clap with the kick Harley gave. She knew the weak spot. A second clap mentioning Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings, Harley knows things. But they do iron out the basics of what they plan on doing with this first ep. Just one ep in, but I can see the setup being DC enters GATE. I'm down to see Harley kick some ass tho. The fact they made Clayface the smooth guy tho, talk about spicy. He even knows isekai. |
