| The animation of this is just amazing, the fight scene was so epic! The episode was super enjoyable, and we were able to get more info about the setting of the anime, and also more about Elfaria, Will's childhood friend! I was worrying she would become one of those characters, that after getting the power, would just forget about Will, but no, she actually is helping from up there to get into the tower, by sending one of Tower's people inspect his work and see how good he is, and that person was Iris! I now actually wonder if she's actually 14 or not, but I suppose not, and that explains why Will was so surprised to hear she's 2 years younger than him. But I'm guessing that her story with Elfaria was actually true, and that's why she's loyal to her. We also got to see the other big mages of the tower, and each one of them seem to have a different type of personality, and at least 2 of them didn't like the idea of Will joining the tower, but let's see what will happen, I think Will will gain their hearts over his extraordinary combat skills. The biggest surprise of this episode was, despite Will's "frail" appearance, he's actually one of the most buff 16 year old I've seen, but that makes sense, due to his combat skills, but I was not expecting that at all xD His body is also full of scars, which shows how much training he has gone through. Also, his roomate seems to be very nice, I hope we can know more about him in the future! Do we already know if this anime is going to be 1 or 2 cours? |
| Damn bruh this dude jacked asf lmaoooo. Animation was 10x better than episode one somehow. Really hope this delay this week isn't production issues. Tatsuya is known for things like that anyways. |

| Once again another well-directed episode with plenty of cool shots. Each scene manages to stay entertaining, despite the apparent lack of background ost and sfx at times. Will's goggles during the fight scene with the monster look cold asf btw. I'm still very curious about the ed theme |

| That frost rex looked like a mix of Regice and Avalugg. Cool fight again and new girl was infact working for the magia vender. We finally got to see more of the members and some of them are quite prideful and don't want Wil while some doesn't care as long as they are useful. Good to see Elfaria, she's too pretty. |

There are so many sakuga scenes in this episode too, they really like the walking animation huh, and the twist at the end is also very interesting, I wonder who is sitting in the center of the magia vander's chair |

| So she's a certified damsel in distress? However, also a spy? Oh, just watched the post-ending. So she is a "watcher" and was reporting potential for tower positions. It appears 2 out of 4 of the top brass support him while 2 out of 4 are stuck in "magic and magic only" delusion. Well, I'm guessing Elfie doesn't want him specifically in a position, but rather to achieve his goal and promise. Damn, dude is furious and has PTSD from the badass MC, good thing he wasn't around to see this episodes feat. That roommate is best husbando |
