| Pretty good first episode but nothing mind blowing. Feels heavily inspired by the movies. I hope WIT and script writers here can make something special out of this show, and that it doesn't turn out to be as generic as the premise seems. |
| First episode was very solid. Got me hooked into the story and introduced characters pretty well. I assume we will get to dive in a bit deeper on them in future episodes though. (8/10) |

| So glad this is a simul-dub, I prefer Harley and Joker speaking English. "Puddin'" and "honeycakes" and whatever other dessert-themed pet names Joker calls Harley are cute. ^^ Ah yes, America, where only black and white people live. Yet somehow Clayface knows the term "isekai." Also, funny how the most fabulous guy in the group has the ugliest ability. "The worse the villain, the uglier the face." So true, in both fiction and real life. But that transition from trying to make peace with the swordsman to suddenly behind bars was pretty funny. :) |

| That was decent enough, Harley's design is a 10/10 and Clayface was pretty charismatic and fun, but then again I'll take anything that doesn't have the awful Tomorrowverse art style yuck, I miss Harley Quinn 2019 King Shark already. |
| LOL, what's interesting is... I just recently decide to watch Batman Ninja... (there were some awkwardness in it, but overall it was OK) . And now we got this, haha. I like how they're mixing Cartoon and Anime. Where they keep anime's high quality art with Cartoon's wonkyness. I am not really a Comic fan tho and doesn't actually look into every DC/U stuff, I just know most of them due to "popular culture" that nearly everyone knows about cause everyone talked about them or watched some of them. . huh... so in this version of Suicide Squad... the DC/U is the villians (and not just the characters, but rather the entire world, including the "good guys"), since the good guys turned someone into the gate and is sending people to the other world... TO INVADE AND CONQUER the Isekai world. Aka, they basically turned someone with the power to open portals or something into a world traveling gate... I wonder who it was that got turned into a Gate... (tho... it looks like some of the other DC ppls... are already in the other world before Suicide Squad... huh...) |

| Sigh this is slop in the truest sense of the word. I don't know what DC is doing, why is it so hard to stay true to these characters and have an accurate representation of these characters and their relationships. No, Joker was NEVER an ikemen and his relationship with Harley was never YASS SLAYYYY RELATIONSHIP GOALSSSS type of shit. I'm really tired of this and I'm tired of the idealization of these characters in recent media. Can't wait for Folie A Deux, last chance for DC to redeem themselves. |

| I've finally watched all three episodes. Surprised that I liked it a lot because suicide squad and the isekai fantasy genre in general have not appealed to me. Now I kind of want to watch those two Suicide Squad movies, or at least the second one. And, I feel differently about the characters staying 100% accurate to their original versions... Like, go watch or read the hundreds of other stale ass stories that include these characters if you want. Heaven forbid someone try to put a slightly different spin on these characters. This show is entertaining. I'll take this version of Clayface over other version of the character any day of the week. |

| Its a calm first episode before the storm. Seems like this version of the DC world has some of the villains to be unique. Clayface for example doesn't go around in a mud form 24/7 and instead (I'm guessing) as his original form: Basil Karlo. Peacemaker is here too which is ofc because of his show being popular and so far he is enjoyable. Deadshot my dawg here as well. Interested in seeing the squad bond a little more with time. |

| Why does Katana look like a 14yo? I'm not the most versed in the DC universe but isn't she supposed to be a widow or some shit? And why can't Clayface just remove his explosive by turning into clay? Anyways, pretty mediocre start overall. Harley vs. Katana looked very underwhelming and the execution of the premise seems even more lame than expected. |
| It's finally here, Suicide Squad ISEKAI!! what a bizarre and unique concept. Anime fans are not ready for Harley Quinn waifu. My goodness Anna Nagase as Harley Quinn was Amazing 🔥🔥🔥 Umehara as Joker was incredible too, too bad he only got a few scene and not part of the Isekai Squad. I forgot Lord of the Rings was also own by WB. I like the pop culture reference. Loos like it's going to be a lot of fun. I really enjoying it. |

| Pretty much all my knowledge of DC lore came from that one Joker movie and I just checked this out on a whim and man, the sheer amount of fun this show clearly has with itself is infectious. Action's sick too. |

| I kinda forgot this was a thing. Idk what WB is thinking. Out of all the anime based on DC property they could make, they chose SUICIDE SQUAD? AND they made it an isekai for some reason??? I swear, someone at WB must *really* like Suicide Squad to make so many things based on it. They are desperately trying to make Suicide Squad a thing but I don't think it's working. In fact, it probably has the opposite effect. Normally I wouldn't watch this but the fact that it has Re:ZERO author Tappei Nagatsuki as one of its writers made me change my mind. Vivy and to an extent, Warlords of Sigrdrifa were amazing. But they were amazing because they were completely original IPs. I dunno if the writers of Vivy can make successful works out of established IPs yet. The first episode was decent enough. There was only one thing that was on my mind during the first part of the episode. Where the fuck is Batman? Joker's design looks so odd. He looks and sounds too young. Gotta say the rest of the character designs look pretty good for the most part, except for the ugly NPCs in the isekai world. However, Wit Studio did a good job with the animation as always. Gonna continue this cos it'll probably be decent entertainment at least. |

| This is a cringe fest, I am a huge DC fan & while I wanted this to be good I felt it in my chest that this was going to be a horror show. This should be listed as a satirical comedy, it can’t be taken seriously at all, Joker & Harley Quinn are turned into a typical almost shoujo-like cringe fest, they HAD to have a nude shot of HQ in episode one. Fan service was my greatest fear with this anime, cheapening HQ more & more with any new content is getting so boring & played out her character is mean’t to have depth. “Pudding-chan” physically cringed it was actually the worst thing to befall my ears in ages, and where did she pull that bat out from? Her prison pocket? Any actual DC fans shouldn’t even waste their time, im dropping it. |

| Based on what I've seen so far, it doesn't seem a masterpiece, but neither trash. The problem is that even with the novelty of combining American comics and Japanese anime (if you exclude the old experiments with X-Men anime)it feels like something already seen before. At least twenty isekai or similar shows have come out just this year and what should set this anime apart from the others is the fact that they used DC characters. But they choose the same DC characters, who have already been used and reused too many times in comics and American cartoons, no matter how interesting a character like Harley might be, at a certain point she become boring. Putting together the overused and repetitive elements of an isekai with characters that are already well-known and predictable doesn't seem like a great idea. For now, at least, it seems quite entertaining. I just hope that as it progresses, it remains at least fun and, above all, doesn't create to a new genre of anime. Such an experiment can be fun to watch the first time, but if it becomes a trend, I fear it could reach levels of plot mediocrity never seen before, even in the worst harem romance. |
| As an average DC fan, I had a pleasant start. The characters are the same as those in the Suicide Squad movies. Moreover, there are plenty of waifus in DC, and what better way to see them than in anime form? They released 3 episodes, so I'll give it a chance. |

| Great just great. To be fair I have a lot of streaming subscriptions already through various partnerships. And, I cannot believe that Amazon didn't pick this up on contract. So I'll be watching the JP dub instead of English for this run. As, I found out that hardcoded, assuming Hulu, translation shows the "other" languages as in JP and not EN. Which is not a detraction from my current 8/10. Why? Well while the first half of episode one was everything I'd hoped in English. I thought Harley was perfect for her role. The remainder was still excellent with its Japanese seiyuus. Of note I'd say the male characters had their time to shine. With the Japanese VA's specifically. The production value was top quality. See... The 🌟 of her show in action.  With her loving fans awaiting her every move!  Truly a captive audience. Overall, I think she's just neat.  She's the main draw. For many of the audience, and potential viewers. It was a solid design choice to have her literally monologue the entry. And will be a fitting exit when she solo's an epilogue. As that would be completely in character. For someone who had probably a good 13 min or so. Of runtime dedicated to their initial chase sequence + antics. Do note. I like her in JP thus far as well. But her first appearance on screen. In English was what nailed it. But that is also because we are all biased to what Harley Quinn is supposed to sound like and whom she is supposed to be. For a native English-speaking American. In all her portrayals across time. It means a bit more to us. When something definitely plays to the role exactly as circumstances permit. Instead of that specific talent's own experience and toolset. That they were likely cast to explicitly provide. All the male cast? I have no clue how their characters are supposed to exist as. No idea whatsoever. I am very ignorant to most of the history regarding their characters, authors, time periods, and cultural nuance. She's probably the exception to that rule. Within DC's lineup. At least with most within my generation. Due to her prominence in recent years. So its not a knock on her seiyuu that I can make note of the male's performance in the later period of this episode. I am just considering all of them as more or less normal context seiyuus. Which is more in line with Japan's typical AAA actors and actresses. Industry scope, provided to and expected of them. Ie a standout performance is one normally accredited to the individual. Not production, or writing staff. |
