The irony is quite something to see. Endeavor’s first project to surpass All Might faces his perfect creation… At least that’s how it started. But, both Shoto and Toya changed their paths and aimed for different goals.

Dabi’s rage was intense and represented by the simple fact that his flames are hotter than Endeavor’s (also due to him not having any senses). All of Endeavor’s sidekicks along with Iida are there to back Shoto up as he prepares his version of Flashfire, one that produces COLD FLAMES.

Finally he’s found a way to combine his ice and fire despite the two being conflicting powers. He’s harmonizing his power and come to terms with who he is and what he wants to become. This fight wasn’t just about stopping Dabi, but for Shoto to move on with the rest of his laugh and become the type of hero that he wants to be.

Now that Dabi is out of the picture, that leaves the fight against All For One. What can they do against his army of quirks? Does Endeavor actually have what it takes to stop him or will Deku have to stop both All For One and Shigaraki?

It was interesting to learn that Dabi was originally gonna be All For One’s vessel, but due to his desire to die contrasting All For One’s desire to live forever, that changed things. Also Dabi was too deranged to be manipulated.

Let’s see how the rest of this finale goes…

A very strong episode with a lot of emotional moments. Todoroki and his family drama is something I've always enjoyed so I loved this episode.

Awesome episode. Animation absolutely went totally fucking nuts, Dabi is one of the best characters to watch on screen. Wish there was like slightly more movement in this fight and less talking / flashbacks but lol still a fun watch.

I'm super late on this thread but I hope it's not too late to compliment this amazing episode. True, it's not action-packed as someone wish it to be but in my opinion the investment in emotion is more important than action in this context.

Dabi….such a tragic character. I feel sorry him. He was a product of Endeavor’s horrible parenting. All he wanted was to be accepted by his father.

Even after he survived, he rejected AFO and only wanted to be guided by his father. But even after Endeavor thought Dabi died, he carried his child abuse to the other children, who could have also ended up being just like Dabi as well.

Fortunately, Todoroki had good people around him and stepped up to be the one to take charge of not only beating Dabi, but stopping his brother by force.

It was a showdown we were all looking forward to, and it did not miss!

Were the emotional speeches always so tedious in this show? It's been a while since I've watched the first couple seasons, but I swear they weren't this repetitive before... I didn't mind the flashbacks, but my god, stop standing there shouting platitudes at each other

A beautiful episode. Loved the amazing fight and the emotional backstory of both these kids. It's a heartbreaking family. Shoto faced his big brother like an absolute champ and I hope Dabi is down for good. Really amazing episode.

Nice backstory but to be fair after 3 years, it was totally understandable to stop searching for Touya. He could have just shown up then in front of Enji. Yes he was an asshole but he would've welcomed him back with open arms.

Animation picked up coz damn Dabi's moves looked sick. Shoto's Phosphor looked amazing. Easily one of the best fight scenes across the series.

This episode was so well done. Definitely carried more emotional weight than in the manga, at least to me. Shoto's dialogues were so good and him thanking class A for always helping him was nice. People always say how far bakugou has come but honestly I think Shoto and the Todoroki's have had better growth and it was really well done.

you would hope the climax of Dabi's story is less flashbacks and more action. the action was whack and the fighting wasn't particularly well choreographed. Shoto's new power reveal was pretty trash and this was mediocre.
