I heard early on that "its only in the beginning" yet we are on season 7 RN and he's still crying like a baby. Has to be one of the most lame MC's in mainstream anime RN.

Crying is good for your health. And it increases your resistance to pain.

So many triggered people around here.

And nope, Deku doesn't stop crying, he was way cooler when he was an emo in Batman mode in the previous season.

I always loved how emotional Deku was, this is a good thing he didn't become more "cool", we have other characters for that

@lucknoskillz don't care. They can feed into their own delusions all they want but even the MAL scores have been on the decline as well as general interest in the anime. I dont know anyone who started this originally around me that still watches this. They all moved onto non cry baby anime like JJK, CSM, Bleach TYBW etc. MHA started off well but then it got to that "okay, when is char progression going to happen" with Deku since he was always being a baby crying and not being able to unleash his powers. Now, after 7 seasons he has barely moved from what we started with as it seems studio working on this think they can milk this mid content like another mid piece of anime content (One Piece) just not as slow. Guess I just go ask manga friend to spoil me.

@Acewicz Congrats on confirming you have not watched anything. If you're 7 seasons in and you ironically want to say "he has barely moved from what he started' you"re actually demented.

@Acewicz Yeah but he has been crying like a little girl for the entire show so why is it only a problem now? I would’ve thought you’d drop the show two seasons ago. Doesn’t add up, that’s why it seems like you just posted this for attention.

People get triggered here right and left. I'm not complaining about his crying.

I'm not saying Deku is a shitty protagonist but he's not actually good either. I loved Deku in the staring of S1. I thought this show can be interesting, abilityess protagonist trying to overcome his dream by will and might. But ironically at the end of the day Deku got more powers than he could ever hopped to achieve, making him Overpowered shounen MC, so the initial massage or charm of the show is gone for good. Atleast for me. Really liked the starting theme of MHA but it's mid now.

I don't know why you think that only little girls are allowed to cry, What a sick mindset...
Where does it's written that it's wrong for shounen heroes or boys to cry...

For some reason people like annoying douches in shounen anime.
I don't really get it, either.

I kinda switched over to Chinese Xianxia, where the protagonists aren't annoying, are allowed to kill their enemies and get to have sex with the women they like.

Can you say something original?? You're literally adding nothing new to this complaint it's just annoying at this point when all mha haters do is just repeat the same criticism and have nothing of value to say.

"The kid from Tokyo Revengers" is literally nicknamed as "the crybaby hero" amongst friends, fans, and every other person. Just FYI.

@QuaticL I hoped he would mature but no. He still a garbage MC. I only gave this season a go since legit nothing new out I can watch of worth and I regret doing so.

@Brandon_Bird33 Well Ochaco made a speech to convince the people to let Deku stay on campus. He was moved by her words. Just to clarify I'm not saying anything bad about Deku but that guy said Deku stopped crying long ago but he didn't.

I don't see anything wrong with him crying? He's just an emotional Mc, and as it was shown, it just runs in the family, since yk, Inko also cries a lot. Also, he mostly cries at significant moments, for example when Ochako had her speech at UA, he was moved by her words and broke down after months of fighting. There is no need for every Mc to be a heartless dude who never cries and kills without mercy 😐 🤷
