| The action sequences are really fun to watch as always. The pose that Will made before exploding the Frost Trex was fucking incredible. He thanked 'his' roommate for that as well, i'm not sure how long itll take him to figure it out. Also just the normal scenes where the background animation is just beautiful (the watcher walking down the hall to meet the magia vanders). Also, they've made quite an impression. It does seem a little basic character wise, setting et. Like the fire guy being the "leader" of them . Aside from that, it's jst getting better and better. |

| Another great episode, even better than the last! This might just be my favourite show this season. (though I have to admit I have yet to start Monogatari Off season) If Rosty was my roommate I would forget all about Elfaria real quick. PS: This ep shows once again my taste is just so different from the norm. This had everything, character developement, worldbuilding, great action and a twist! Yet its relatively low rated. Other shows have a peak episode and I think its completely boring. |

| This week we get a look at another means of attack for Will when his sword isn't effective. But what was more interesting is the fact that the Magia Vander's seem desperate to find more capable people to help avoid the prophecy of the world turning to darkness. So much so they sent a scout. Other than that, not much else happened this episode. Just felt more like a filler in between a more important event with this tournament coming up. Probably the weakest episode yet. |
| At the beginning of the episode I was thinking Will should just ditch the white haired mage and pick from one of his growing harem, but Elfaria's not only waiting for him and hasn't forgotten him, she's sending out talent scouts to try and recruit him. My bad! Had no idea Will's roommate was supposed to be a dude. I know a lot of female Japanese VA voice male characters, but if it's supposed to be a guy they aren't even trying. Decent bit of world building and introduction to Order of the Phoenix or whatever. Seeing the resources and strategies Will uses beyond just peak athletics and a sword was really cool and of the course the battle was top notch. I can't wait to see what other magical items he makes use of. |
| I was about to press dislike then like. The girl seems likeable but it disappointed me that she seemwd to be a traitor. It turns out in the epilogue that she is working for Will's love. |

| Good episode. It felt like it went by really quickly. I have a question: What are the glasses/goggles? Do they make him powerful or is he wearing them just cause? Maybe they explained this and I just wasn't paying attention idk |
| Huh... the beginning of episode... It felt like this was set up so Elfie has no choice but to go to the Tower?... Cause the dialogue made it sound like Elfie and Will was saying their final goodbye and made it look like Elfie didn't really want to leave, but she had to... (felt like she was "forced" to go into the Tower...) . And we got another "new girl"... glasses girl this time. And for a 14 yo... she looks the same age as Will... (they might have a different physique growth in their world, but it feels like she should have been a bit shorter to match 14 yo) But her personality fits, I guess, "AH~WAWAWAWAWA" (tho... she's just "acting"...) (kinda want her to be an actual cute airheaded bookworm girl, o well...) . BTW... did... Will... Just... BLOW THAT FROST MONSTER's ASS? OOF... critical hit (I felt that one) . And I guess the "tower" is a "Lie" in how they're teaching the students getting to the Tower is the top achievement... but in fact... the ppls that goes to the Tower has no actual freedom, but to just maintain the barrier from the Invaders... Everyone below are all being "groomed" to become a soldier to fight the Invaders. |

Humanity living under an artificial sky piqued my interest, but it was dampened by the common teenage antiques of Colette & the new girl. We also got to see the Magia Vanders; four are present, yet there are 5 seats.
The hint of the impending battle between this world and the so-called Celestial Hosts sounds interesting.

| The moment when Elfie left to become a Magia Vander, Will upholds his promise to her, and that's dedication. It's easy to see Will being alike towards commoner status, though I did not expect him to be so RIPPED AF. Even though he has his roommate of Rosty to help him out being a magic artificer, Will having to see Sion and his group in the dungeons going at it again, and even saving one of the students from trouble. That said, Elfie having a client request being a mage who is the first to master 12 spells, the magic academy's definitely in an uproar, save for Iris Churchill whom he saved, and doesn't discriminate his talentless magic. Iris's dungeon search for a Frost Walker, Will has enough experience to back his claim, and finds the evolved Frost Rex being alike one of his usual big-sized monsters that he regularly faces in the dungeon. And since it has immunity against physical attacks, depending on Rosty's tools for magic explosives, Will proves himself once again, only to catch the real intent of Iris as someone who also now knows of the talentless, and proceeds to the Mercedes Caulua's Wizard Tower to meet the Magia Vander as a Watcher, to report Will to them. As the Fated Day arrives, Elfaria knows Will's coming, and so do the others now to change the atmosphere. |

(if they're still there, they must be pretty persistent) But yea.. as I previous said... this gives me "TTGL" vibes... where the "ground people" lives in caves (in this case, a shielded space, I don't think their shield covers the entire planet), and the world is controlled by powerful Aliens. Or... we can view this like the game "Elden Ring", where the OG world has long been taken over by an Alien force and the players play through the game and find hints about the world's truths and have to decide to either help or go against the "Aliens" set rules. (where this series, they put up a shield to go against the Celestial Beings, except they also mention they're running out of power to keep the shield up, since it looks like the "Tower" "drains" the Magia's powers regardless of their own will...) |

| I like that the production quality is being maintained, although so far the story and characters are not very interesting. The setting itself however has potential if its properly fleshed out. |

| The animation of this is just amazing, the fight scene was so epic! The episode was super enjoyable, and we were able to get more info about the setting of the anime, and also more about Elfaria, Will's childhood friend! I was worrying she would become one of those characters, that after getting the power, would just forget about Will, but no, she actually is helping from up there to get into the tower, by sending one of Tower's people inspect his work and see how good he is, and that person was Iris! I now actually wonder if she's actually 14 or not, but I suppose not, and that explains why Will was so surprised to hear she's 2 years younger than him. But I'm guessing that her story with Elfaria was actually true, and that's why she's loyal to her. We also got to see the other big mages of the tower, and each one of them seem to have a different type of personality, and at least 2 of them didn't like the idea of Will joining the tower, but let's see what will happen, I think Will will gain their hearts over his extraordinary combat skills. The biggest surprise of this episode was, despite Will's "frail" appearance, he's actually one of the most buff 16 year old I've seen, but that makes sense, due to his combat skills, but I was not expecting that at all xD His body is also full of scars, which shows how much training he has gone through. Also, his roomate seems to be very nice, I hope we can know more about him in the future! Do we already know if this anime is going to be 1 or 2 cours? |
| Damn bruh this dude jacked asf lmaoooo. Animation was 10x better than episode one somehow. Really hope this delay this week isn't production issues. Tatsuya is known for things like that anyways. |

| Once again another well-directed episode with plenty of cool shots. Each scene manages to stay entertaining, despite the apparent lack of background ost and sfx at times. Will's goggles during the fight scene with the monster look cold asf btw. I'm still very curious about the ed theme |
