| First episode streams today ahead of the TV broadcastings. For a start, I felt bad for the protagonist Fate for his mistreatement. Furthemore, he had to endure it throughout his life until he realizes used an ability he wasn't even aware of. Not impressed yet but they have time to develop the relationship between Fate and Roxy. Her apperance seems like something out of a dream. |

Surpassing the confines of conventional levels, he instills fear with his nightmarish strength, earning him the moniker... While the concept of absorbing an enemy's stats through killing and stealing isn't groundbreaking, the accompanying drawback of enduring hunger sets 'Gluttony' apart from your typical overpowered skill. Greed's act of siphoning Fate's stats serves as a clever counterbalance. Interestingly, Fate's use of "Gluttony" mirrors Hajime Nagumo's technique from Arifureta for bolstering strength. Moreover, Greed bears a resemblance to Migi from Parasyte, which isn't lost on me. I've heard good things about this LN, so as long as they do justice to the adaptation, consider me engaged for the time being. |

| Author Ichika Isshiki's only work produced by the studio who last made Orient, A.C.G.T will always look the same in terms of production. For one certain Fate Graphite, his weakness is his Gluttony skill which only makes him hungry: a lowly gatekeeper who's treated the same trash as any townsfolk from the holy knights, being managed by the Vlerick family. But his saviour being the venerable Roxy Hart, Fate's fate rest on the laurels of her good, but in this harsh environment, he's a goner sooner or later. Some thieves appear in the city, and Roxy took care of them, but one escaped and while Fate took care of him, his Gluttony skill unceremoniously activates out of nowhere. As thanks, Roxy rewards Fate with a working position in her prestigious Hart family, though he needs to find out how to control his skills. But first, he needs to find suitable equipment, which in its purchase for him being poor, one sword captures his attention from the barrel of broken and tattered swords. The sword, by the name of Greed, immediately piques his interest and paid all that he has for it. And taking it out for a test run, Greed puts Fate to the test against monsters, which increases his Gluttony skills, despite keeping Fate at Level 1 and a skill that defies all laws. Fate's coincidental meeting with Greed, they're similar at every level. But witnessing a child kidnapping, Fate just can't leave the child to her own devices and devises a plan to save her. Quite the dark fantasy show, of which this is one of them this season. |

| That was kind of interesting. His skill devours others and strengthens him otherwise he stays hungry so he'll be constantly killing monsters/people from now on? That's kinda worrying as it might change his good personality at some point. Fmc is cute and nice, she's a caring girl. Those three holy knight siblings are trash though, is he gonna kill them next? Cause that little kid is probably kidnapped to be experimented on immortality by that guy. Btw imagine Gilgamesh's voice on a sword lol, feels weird. Average production but the story/plot is decent enough so gonna keep watching. |

| Pretty standard 1st episode, MC is a weak loser who gets picked on by piece of shit aristocrats but one of the aristocrats is actually a decent person that treats him well. Then he gains a weapon that makes him practically OP. So anytime the MC kills, his Gluttony skill will sate his constant hunger and he gets to steal other abilities. Judging from the opening scene, it looks like he's gonna start going crazy later on. It has enough interest from me so far to see how it develops and where it goes. Curious OP choice btw, it feels out of place tbh. I expected something that sounds more like the Ragna Crimson OP. |

| Dark fantasy seems to be the theme of the season and I’m digging it. I’ve seen a lot of praise for the LN of Berserk of Gluttony and had meant to check it out, but just haven’t got to it. The first episode didn’t seem like anything too groundbreaking, but I’m always going to enjoy these zero to hero type of stories. May be a bit generic, but who cares it’s fun. I think Fate not levelling up and instead taking skills from everyone is an interesting concept. The fact he essentially has to constantly hunt and farm monsters because of his “hunger” is also cool. I wonder what the long term impacts on his personality will be after that. Talking swords are always fun to have in a show and boy it’s pretty hilarious that Greed refers to himself as “俺様” / oresama. I don’t think I’ve ever heard that uttered in spoken Japanese lmao. I’m looking forward to seeing he and Fate’s relationship develop. Can’t wait to see the abusive losers who Fate worked for before to get theirs. Rafalle who’s searching for immortality is probably going to be the most challenging of the bunch to deal with. Solid premiere, dark fantasy setting, couple interesting concepts and cute waifu. I’m hooked. |

| Probably I have an addiction... the guy talk to a sword (but he's not a cute cat loli), he's bullied by 3 dickheads but discover he can be OP, a clone of Aiz Wellenstein wants to protect him, he boosts his stats but he's stucked to level 1 (I think I watched 2 or 3 anime already this here about this theme) in other words is the average fantasy anime with common tropes, and I had no intention of watching it BUT everytime end up to keep watching this kind of series... XD HELP. |

| Utter garbage. Mustache twirling antagonists. Love interest throwing herself at the bland main character. God like luck finding that sword. Videogame leveling. Identify skill. An "underdog" with a blatantly OP skill that just has to be used with any brains whatsoever and all weaknesses erased in one episode. Only positive is they've at least realized they don't need to bother with isekai to make this trash setup. |

| EPIC FIRST EPISODE!!! But Roxy's grand entrance was rather subpar. (she's quite a beauty... and kind-hearted to everyone, from the looks of things) Anyway, the animation was totally fluid. Especially the fighting scenes and info mechanics of his skills are given, nice characters, even the antagonists' are nice to dominate at a later time lol One of the epic stories that I've read. I do hope to get more world building like I saw with Mushoku Tensei this series, this may not be connected to anything but the quality, I need quality adaptation... This is not a/an isekai series. I do hope the quality of the adaptation is of high quality and does not degrade overtime. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| I read the manga and I enjoyed it.The Animation quality was mediocre but otherwise the episode was pretty good. Liked the introduction of Fate and Roxy.Also Greed is here too.It is a journey of an underdog to the top.Hopefully the series gets even better. |

| Hm i liked it. The setup is better that it isnt an isekai since this guy you know he lived his whole life in this world and people that tormented him are still relevant rather than out of reach. I could do without the game mechanics though. I hope the status voice isnt a continuous thing, it will get really annoying. What bothers me though is why did Roxy not just offer Fate the position to begin with if she is supposed to care that much about him? Or maybe it just is she doesnt care about him on a personal level and just is bothered by how he gets treated. Yet she is on a basis of knowing his name. I guess she needs a reason to tell others other than feeling sorry for him? |
