| That cat is sure something lol, but if it can helps with the materials that's nice... now that professor with a deep voice but a little girl avatar was also unexpected but that's how you troll with your appearance in video games ahaha, I wonder how Sunraku will react to the invitation, since it can help him but he needs to be cautious.... can't wait for S2 to see the revenge against Lycaon, what a great anime overall |

Characters like Rei had no purpose other than being doormart to inflate the neckbeard fantasy of a cute girl stalking a literal nobody that only plays videogames all day and has zero personality or skills. Shame that Aramis joined until now, he's the legit only clown in this circus that made me laugh (that and Bilac that served the necessary role of a straightman)
This one gets a 3/10 in my books just for the animation effort.
Remember kids, good graphics don't make a videogame, and in the same way, good animation shouldn't be an excuse to cover for poor storytelling and poor character writing.

| Was not expecting that deep voice on Professor, really caught me off guard. Anyways, another reference to the truth of the world yet we still got nothing as far as lore goes. Especially these last few eps were somewhat weak with their focus on the game aspect. That said, was really enjoyable overall. Wethermon arc was definitely the highlight. Really hoping Sunraku accepts the friend request from Professor and there is more lore development next season. |

| The visuals are obviously really nice, and I did appreciate how it just stayed a VRMMO show and explored the idea pretty straightforwardly. I didn't really have an issue with the non-ending, considering the immediate sequel announcement it shouldn't really be considered an ending in the first place I never felt the narrative was ever interesting though, so it cannot get much higher than a 5 or 6 in my book. The characters and premise might not work in a serious setting, so maybe it's just better this way |

| This was a really good show. It had its ups, it had its moments where the story stalled, but the fights in it were solid. The ending itself did feel like it was going nowhere.. but I'm sure in a second installment we would get right back to fighting Lycagon. And since Sunraku eventually learned about the things that he intentionally skipped from Day 1, he has the upgraded skills to help move the story along. For him to be experiencing this unique story, it makes you wonder how many other unique scenarios there are for players to explore. Surely Sunraku's friends can find their own unique routes so they can have something to brag about. |

| I honestly started pretty lukewarm on this, after being interested in this series since the manga first started, then later on there were some things I liked like the rabbit boss, the Wethermon or w/e he was called fight and things that absolutely grated on me at times like how annoying the screeching of that lil rabbit could be and a few other minor annoyances. The SLF Theatre Mini's were often enjoyable at least. Unfortunately this series just about scraped a 7/10 for me, meaning it was good and I enjoyed it, but it was teetering on the edge of being a 5 or 6 (just average/okay for me). So I'd still be hesitant about who I'd recommend this to. A shame as I had higher hopes for it as a series. I enjoyed enough to continue to S2, but can't see a long ongoing commitment to watching this if it continues to drag out, I think the manga is still ongoing, so we'll see how the adaptation pans out. Will get to S2 once it's out eventually when I have the time, the first season being on Netflix defo helped me get through it much quicker than I likely would've otherwise. |

| I'm glad this this 25 episodes. I'm glad that there's already a sequel coming in a few months. And I'm glad I watched this after it aired so no weekly waiting for me. I decided to just ignore all the inaccurate shit in this show when it comes to mmorpgs, it was fun regardless. 8 |

| Don't think he really needs the professor's help though, since he's probably got more info from the unique scenarios, especially from Vash. Maybe there are a few things that might help him, but I don't think he needs professor's help. I'm excited for the world building in the next season, we'll probably be introduced to the Cazzeria kingdom, and I hope we get to see the other kingdoms as well. He triggered a flag there I fear, where he said he's not trying to start a war lol. Am also excited to see Wolfgang in action more, and grow their influence. 9/10 |
