Poor Nukumizu, haha. He's too kind-hearted, and everyone misunderstands him, but I think that's better for him; otherwise, everyone would take advantage of his kindness. Shikiya appeared again, and although she can be a bit creepy for never blinking, the fan service she provided was very good.

Imagine working for a month, and when the end of the month arrives, expecting your beautiful salary only to be paid entirely in noodles—that's a disgusting company. I love how Nukumizu's sister is; she cares so much about her brother and helped him a bit in that situation so he wouldn't look like a pervert.

Tagisan... I mean, Chihaya is very dazzling. Now we'll see how Nukumizu resolves this misunderstanding or just accepts that this is NTR.

P.S.: I need that T-shirt.

man I started watching this show on a whim just to fill up my seasonal watch list but it’s slowly becoming my favorite of the season, I just love how all the characters interact with each other especially Nukumizu and Yanami to the point I honestly hope they stay as friends; I didn’t realize the NTR on his shirt at the end until I read some comments lmao I hope this gets cleared up next episode

So many things ran off the rail this episode.

Yanami visited Nukumizu's home for the first time because her father's salary this month was paid with noodles. She brought a full bag of noddles which translates to probably half a year to a year worth of noodle in a regular family. It looked like a lot until we saw the boxes and boxes of noodles in the club room. Somebody online even calculated that 300,000 yen translates to 150 kg of 祖母之絃 / 揖保乃糸 noodles. The screenplay at the club room was amazing! The first cut at 05:44 showed the regular 本日欠席 Absent Today board for Yakishio with an unassuming box on the bottom left corner. The second cut at 05:47 showed Tamaki talking with a box of noodles in front of him. At this point we could probably recognise the packaging and connecting dots – Yanami brought some of the noddles to the club as well. The third cut showed Nukumizu hearing with the similar boxes of noodles in front. The animator gave 7 full seconds for us to process this information and then at 05:54 the bomb dropped. The fourth cut zoomed out and showed all 20, 30 boxes of noodles occupying every available desk and chair. Yanami sitting behind two boxes of noodles subtly emphasised just how much noodles there were.

Weird happenings between Nukumizu and Shikiya with some very weird shots on droplets of water. The theme of this anime made me wonder if there were anything behind Shikiya's question whether Tamaki and Tsukinoki had a relationship. My first thought was maybe the student council would push on some weird requirements or tasks for the literature club. Immediately in the next scene Tamaki annouced that he received a task from student council. But the task wasn't really out of ordinary. And then when Nukumizu asked why now, Tamaki had an eye contact with Tsukinoki and Tsukinoki said the task wasn't new at all. If it were not this, maybe instead this meant Shikiya had or wanted to have a run on Tamaki or Tsukinoki? No idea.

And then in the next scene Yanami ascended (?).

After that in the school library with Nukumizu and Komari, Komari suddenly became frantic with her movements after receiving a message from Yakishio. She asked Nukumizu whether Yakishio had male siblings with flushed cheek for some reason. She wanted to ask more questions but stopped herself out of shyness. In the next scene when Nukumizu was with Yakishio, Yakishio also received a phone message and was excited about the message. It almost made me believe that this is a yuri pair, until later in the episode it is revealed that this message Yakishio received was probably not from Komari but from Ayano, but who knows!

Also, the unorthodox and totally out of the box scene on the tram, following by Yanami « 世界なんで滅べばいい May the world end » really have some impacts, but it is really unnecessary because from the last episode we could see Yanami and Nukumizu was definitely not at this stage.

The only thing that made me feel unsatisfied is at 18:53 when both Yanami and Asakumo had dressed up but only Nukumizu was in his normal clothing.
