I rate mostly enjoyment over everything, with also some reasoning to the story, or how impactful it is to me. Originality also gives extra points for me too, So if you see me give 10/10 to shows like bahamut is because of enjoyment because I used to follow the game before the english app got taken down. akira that are influential to anime/ sci-fi / the work that went into the move is insane. gave shows like hack/sign a perfect score even though to some it's incredible boring but the ending and last part made it worth it for me. Tdlr my scores arent completely critical if i enjoyed it a lot but mostly my score are critical combined with enjoyment, impact left on me.

10 - Masterpiece / Loved it completely
9 - not quite perfect but really enjoyed
8 - would recommend but no legendary
7 - enjoyed it but not a lot
6 - decent enjoy some of it
5 - mid not really anything redeeming
4 - just straight up bad disliked
3 -hated it a lot
2 - so awful it makes me angry
1 - the worse thing ive seen

I rank airing based on expectations and purely enjoyment, then when I finish them I rate them accordingly.

Some of my 7s or some my 8s etc, I'll rate something that fell a little short as a 7 even though part of it is an 8. Over time my opinion will change too, like kiznavier i thought was a 7 now an 8, or I didn't like your name when it came out but rewatched it and now it's good.

My anilist is better rankings that's more accurate because I have 0/100 scale, so I believe in high and lows of 1-10. I may one day be crazy enough to tag them as high or lows...... some day lol
