Kono Sekai wa Fukanzen Sugiru

This anime is highly underrated, even though it’s very good. The story is consistent and features an intriguing premise. Most importantly, each character is lively and engaging.

So far, the plot has been captivating and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The way the main character strives to revive his friends who have been bugged, his battles against the Betas using his unique abilities, the exploration of the city, and the discovery of new and unusual bugs all add to the excitement.

The visual execution is also impressive. The story, visuals, and characters blend together seamlessly, creating a cohesive and immersive experience. Overall, it’s an ... easy 9/10!

This is my first review, and I'm not particularly skilled at giving reviews. I don't take positive or negative feedback too seriously because I form my own opinion based on whether I am entertained. Here’s my summary:

If you work in the software or IT industry, especially in roles such as software testing, quality assurance, test engineering, test automation, or game testing, you might find this show relatable and enjoyable. It focuses on solving problems in software by identifying and reporting bugs, but it presents these issues in an animated story format (anime). While there are other shows where isekai protagonists are involved in the software ... industry, this one is unique in that all the characters are testers, creating a balanced dynamic of testers versus testers.

I might be biased, but I don’t really mind if the show is isekai, generic, or has issues with quality or animation. For me, it relates to concepts in the industry and I enjoyed it a lot. Remember, different people have different opinions and perspectives—some may enjoy it even if they aren't in the industry, while others might not.

In conclusion, I’d rate it as a recommended show, giving it a 7 for now. It’s neither too high nor too low, but it is a decent and enjoyable show overall.

Just an FYI before you decide to watch this anime, it has a suprising (even tho most of the time badly executed and overall not really good) plot twists in the first 4 episodes, so dont as you probably can deduce from the tags, dont expect a typical fantasy show, thats the most I can write about that without spoilers.
Now onto the review.
This whole show is weird, but not the good kind of weird, altough it is pretty early you judge that, as this weirdness can lead to interesting story developments. My biggest pet peeves with this anime is that it feels like it wasnt ... tought out really well, it is riddled with plot holes in the first few episodes, for which we should have had the answers already as they are pretty basic things (hope they will correct that on the oncoming episodes, but probably not) and that the anime itself doesnt know what it is or what it wants, like watching a constant identity crisis on the screen.
The anime in itself is not that bad, but it needs a whole lot of better story development and just overall development in the oncoming episodes to overcome the constraints it set on itself for no reason. But at least the op and ed slaps tho.
