Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! 3

Kazuma Satou, former NEET and current reincarnated adventurer, finally returns home after the incident at the Crimson Demon village. He is joined by his ever-reliable companions: self-absorbed goddess Aqua, one-trick pony arch-wizard Megumin, and masochistic crusader Lalatina Ford "Darkness" Dustiness. Following their recent exploits, the party is one step closer to vanquishing the Demon King and his armies—a terrifying task that Kazuma is eager to ignore for as long as possible. Things, however, are not going as smoothly as the group would like; they are constantly racking up debt, getting sidetracked during missions, and falling into traps due to their recklessness and eccentricities.

As the party struggles with their perennial issues, they receive an invitation from a princess interested in hearing tales of the group's "heroic" deeds. Darkness' pleas to refuse the invitation only fire the others up to accept it, marking the start of yet another uncanny adventure with unforeseen consequences.

Pretty good as always, Konosuba never disappoints. It is one of the funniest series I've ever seen, and the plot works sometimes.

The series is great, but I think the quality of each scene varies too greatly from a 5/10 to a 10/10: there are some scenes that I think should have been played for comedy, but that were played for drama instead, and I think overall the series should embrace more of comedy, as it is not as proficient at drama.

Also I think there were some obvious jokes that the writers missed somehow. There is a scene in which one of the characters brings a ... giant frog to a party and it starts trashing the place, but we only hear it as a conversation in the background while Kasuma is outside the room. Later in the same scene, Kasuma comes back to the room, and this would have been the perfect moment to reintroduce the joke and the giant frog, but it never happened; which is a shame as I think it would've been hilarious to see the frog come back, and a great example of set up and pay off - and there are quite a few similar moments in this season. The same goes for the plot, some moments felt like the plot had an obvious amazing direction to take, but it went the completely other way - which was still good, just not as good.

Overall, I recommend Konosuba a lot. But if you (somehow) don't like this style of comedy, then maybe you won't enjoy the series, as it focuses mostly on comedy.

Mixed Feelings

This show I enjoy watching despite never being one I loved or favorited. The comedy was great, awesome premise from season 1.

So this is coming from a non fan stand point. They missed the mark in this season. It was blatant and obvious in early episodes. I finished it anyway, laughed sure but where is the sustenance this season. Ouch to those who put a lot of effort in making it. Great ideas executed poorly unfortunately.

I'm not gonna pick apart why because everyone will get their own interpretation and some loved it for sure and we can't blame them, ... tastes are individualistic.

All I'm saying is that if a non avid lover of this show can tell this season was a mismark it speaks volumes. Sure I laughed and all that but everything else... eesh.

Might not be so bad if you know that before going in, maybe, who knows. I can only speak my truth.

Those who despise it, I understand.
Those who are on the fence and still want to give season 4 a chance like me, that's cool.
Those who love it, thank you for giving us the opportunity to get a 4th season.

Pros : Characters are still lovable, funny, and remained the same throughout the years.

Cons : This season felt boring to watch , in comparison to the other seasons. Much slower pacing, scenes weren't as exciting mainly. Lot more dialogue. The jokes / screaming got stale and lost its impact the more it happened. The animation was quite worse compared to the other seasons. Music / Comedy also significantly fell off. There were a couple funny scenes but it was not consistent. I would have dropped this show easily if it was not Konosuba. Really enjoyed the first seasons due to the characters but this ... season was not it.
