Unique characters and history

Both series are equally dramatic, epic and touching stories of heroism, bravery and friendship! Even though one is about fighting dogs and the other about fighting "pretty boys", you can find a lot of similarities between them. The main character of both is a young warrior who has had to experience a lot even as a child to become a good fighter and our heroes always manage to get their former opponents on their side to fight the real enemy. This actually isn't surprising, because both appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump in the 80s and later Toei Animation adapted both into anime. They were successful in different parts of the world (GNG is much more obscure in the other places except in Finland and Scandinavia, though), but you could say that both series are a significant part of Shonen history. So, if you want the same kind of action and don't care if the characters are humans or animals, these series are for you!

Both Hello World and Orange are in the romance and sci-fi genre. And both revolve around a character where their 10 years in the future self helps their past high-school self in preventing an accident that happens and saving their loved one, changing the future in where they are happy together. They both also have an anime adaptation as well if you're an anime before book person.

VRMMOs and drama in-game. If you've played MMORPGs in the past and want some nostalgia on making friends and getting into trouble, these manhwa are worth reading.

this is a mix of kekkai sensen (blood battle blockade), blue exorcist, and jjk in my opinion. the obvious point is they fight with blood in both series, but tougen anki fleshes it out far more into a shounen-like plotline, aka the 'chosen one but they didn't find out until their parental figure was on the verge of death or died' like ... jjk, blue exorcist, and quite literally most shounens. i enjoy the fantasy element, it doesn't have an intricate power system, it's easy to understand and remember. and the characters are good looking so that's a plus as well

Mistery involving a family, mental health problems involved, great writing, and both mangas are absolutely fantastic.

The eyes of Estelle are like jewels and the MC of WMMAP, Athanasia also has jeweled eyes. Athanasia is also a princess. The father-daughter focus is also very strong in WMMAP.

Although Oresama Teacher is way wackier and less down to earth than Skip and Loafer, I think if you enjoy the comedic moments of one series, you'll enjoy the antics of the other. Especially when it comes to the main characters. The main characters have similar energetic girl energies, even if one is a straight A student that would be mortified by the other's delinquent past. Both are starting out at a new high school that is far away from their old junior high but have occasional returns to their hometowns.

Dogs and cats who don't have the complete coziness and comfort of human care anymore, so they have to fend for themselves on the streets. Both offer an insight via the animal's viewpoint instead of having humans take a central role.

Both are pure fluff pieces with little drama to speak of. Ichido dake demo, Koukai Shitemasu. is definitely the stronger of the 2 as it features a character slowly exploring their sexuality rather than just simply trying to decide if she actually loves her or not.

Edgy female leads in a royalty setting. Arune and Navier always gives this 'cool' vibes every time they are in public but is soft as a marshmallow when they are with the male lead.

Witches aren't appreciated by humans. Luckily a few humans do care for witches' well-being, look further than simply prejudice and hate and actually try to converse with them.

Both have a similar style of comedy when it comes to absurd yakuza. Hinamatsuri also has the added supernatural element but this is also used for laughs and tends to have a younger cast of characters

Both start with an odd duo appreciating the silent nightlife together and learning to care deeply for each other in the process. Insomniacs after school takes a more realistic approach with two highschoolers whereas Call of the Night has the added supernatural element of vampires.

Both have a similar grounded but wholesome narrative about a protagonist who feel out of their depth at the beginning but make good friends in their day to day high school life with realistic stakes and drama. Romance is a theme but not the main one.

Both are about regular young adult life in a modern setting with supernatural creatures like werewolves and yuki onna. While supernatural beings are more normalized in Koori Zokusei, in Super Secret there's the added element of needing to keep that identity secret to blend in with the humans around them.

Protagonist born into violent times has a gift for fighting but starts to prefer trying to make peace with the antagonists instead. Reader is likely to enjoy the Vinland Saga's take on this storyline more though.

Portrayal of struggles of young queer people, more realistic than the usual BL titles.

Wider messages regarding human nature are similar. Protagonists who try their best to smile. Same shoujo genre. Jeanne tends to be more episodic at times and is more similar to mahou shoujo type.

I usually don't see many people in the DMC fandom who have read this novel or know of its existence but don't know what they are missing. yeah the novel stopped being canonical since dmc 3 was released but 50% of the facts are taken as canon due to mentions in the other games or even in the anime. If you want to know a little more about Dante and his past in redgrave I definitely recommend it, we know some different facets of him and how he got his weapons Ebony and Ivory so please read it!

This will contain slight spoilers for both series and a major spoiler warning later on. The manga starts with Yuji having to awaken powers because of a life and death situation by eating Sukuna's finger. Similar to him Ichigo had to awaken his Shinigami powers because of a life and death situation where Rukia transferred her powers to him. Afterwards we meet Gojo Satoru aka "the sensei" who is very similar character wise to Urahara Kisuke. They're both seen as very powerful entities in their worlds and are hated by many people. Yuji was first meant to be executed but he got away with it for a short time given so that he can collect all the fingers of Sukuna which are indestructible. People didn't want to trust Yuji at first since he had Sukuna inside of him which is why he received a lot of hate from the sorcerer society and was even hunted down for it later in the manga. As a parallel to that, Ichigo was seen as an enemy by the Shinigami during the Soul Society arc and was almost killed multiple times while trying to save Rukia from getting executed. While Yuji is able to "transform" by letting Sukuna the King of Curses take over his body, Ichigo can transform into a hollow and also communicate with Zangetsu who lives inside of his Zanpakuto and lends him power. Spoilers for Shibuya Arc (JJK) and TYBW Arc (Bleach): In the Shibuya Arc we find out that Kenjaku had transplanted his brain into Kaori Itadori's (Yuji's Mom) body which is why Choso ends up calling Yuji "brother". Yuji was revealed to be related to Kenjaku which also explains his supernatural physical abilities in the first few chapters. This is a big parallel to the plot twist with Ichigo's mother not being a human but a quincy and him being related to Yhwach because of that.

These two emotional stories show the bond and love of two lonely people who had to act more mature than their age.

Overall, Sweethearts and Irrumax are both enjoyable yuri manga series. The two series are similar in terms of their art style, character designs, and overall tone.

I have to reccommend Komi for this series cause 1.Both series are about relationships with a communication barrier. with Yuki being deaf and having to use stuff like texts and notepads to talk while Komi is mute and super shy using the same methods of communication except sign language 2.both are very warm and gentle relationships. 3. both females leads want to broaden their views of the world w/ new experiences, yuki w/ traveling the world & komi with experiencing friendship the only reall differences is a sign of affection focuses on the mature adult aspects of being in love. while Komi cant communicate is a shy highschool student who mainly wants to make 100 friends and her love relationship acts as more of the B-plot to the story

Nagisa and Mashiro are scarily similar characters to Shizuku and Kaori. Mashiro and Kaori are the ones pushing for a relationship and Nagisa and Shizuku are initially very reluctant but slowly end up falling in love. Mashiro also has a health issue that 100% is going to become a major plot point at some point, just like Kaori.

Steel Ball Run and Mo Dao Zu Shi are actually really different, but both stories follow this similar main-plot: There is a mysterious corpse whose every piece is hidden in unknown places. Our two main characters must find these pieces to discover the identity of the corpse.

Both couples bond over gaming. But in Semantic Error is about game devs and My Little Inferno is about casual gaming fans(they watch Minecraft streams and play Smash).

The hero and their loved ones are subjected to brutal, prolonged physical and psychological abuse until they transform themselves to settle the score with their former abusers. Both these series are not for the faint of heart and depict graphic physical and sexual violence, and the abusers are cartoonishly evil, making you root for the hero no matter how far they need to go to get revenge. While Redo of Healer leans more into "revenge porn" with the sexual aspect and Maria no Danzai is more of a psychological thriller, if you seek the catharsis of abusers getting their just deserts, both of these series may be right up your alley.
