Natsume's Book of Friends is such a beautiful warm anime, with similar vibes as Frieren, dare I say even better. Natsume's Book of Friends gets comfier the more you watch and is soooo heartwarming. It constantly makes me smile. One of my favourite episodes is the Tree yokai.
Frieren diverges from its soft feel-good vibe with some cliche shounen elements like the mage certification exam etc, but Natsume's book of friends upholds the feel-good vibe throughout.

Both shows left a significant landmark on anime culture and are both acclaimed with huge fanbases but Code Geass it’s less popular than Death Note and should be seen, especially for the main character, Lelouch.
Light Yagami is often compared to him.
Both Lelouch and Light have legitimate savior complexes, with their initial aim being to make the world a better place, but their personalities and motivations are shown to be very different, so, after watching everything and despite their similarities, I am convinced that Lelouch is on another level.
He is smart, ambitious, badass. He defeats enemies not by willing himself strong like a typical battle shounen protagonist, but by concocting absolutely insane schemes and plots and managing to get away with them.
It’s highly entertaining to watch him cause he creates brilliant strategies that can take down forces superior to his own.
While Death Note is a duet between Light and L, and their interplay made it what it is, Code Geass has Lelouch who fights against any other characters with his intelligence.

Obviously, most of the people who had watched "Oregairu" know how "cool" is Hachiman right? To say, Hachiman is a lazy person but hiden inside him is a very very big brain. Houtarou (Hyouka) do the same thing. There is only one different when comparing Houtarou and Hachiman is the sense of humor, when Hachiman alway say unexpected thing, Houtarou just want to chill.
Mystery screen are also included in both of the anime.
Both main male character usually deal with the problem that main female character or antagonist made.
When Chitanda seem to be too depend on Houtarou (Hyouka), Yukino (Oregairu) always try to be strong. The similar thing here is both 2 character's personality generally cause problem to the main male character.

Voyerism (filming/photo taking) in Joshikousei no Koshitsuki is the same as in 15 Bishoujo Hyouryuuki where the girl is actually okay with MC filming her and gives him a lot of sexy angles. Another similarities are pretty girls in bikini and also the fact that both shows have multiple waifus that change with each episode.

Both series feature children in a highly advanced future where the barriers between real life and augmented reality have been blurred and they get enrolled in the middle of life threatening situations where said technology heavily gets to lean towards the metaphysical. They also share director, scriptwriter and animation director, making their similarities translate to its visuals, writing style, themes and vision of the future.

This anime feels like a mix of Death Note and Breaking Bad. The fedora must be a reference to Breaking Bad. Also, at an episode the main character says my lungs are weak or something.
Tetsuo is Light, Majima is L and Kasen is Mikami Teru.

Both stories are odes to life, telling the story of a person suffering from depression who gradually rediscovers the joy of living thanks to a close-knit and supportive group of friends. The two stories are very similar, this is quickly noticed. But the two stories are complementary! They are wonderful !

I grew up with both Candy Candy and Sandybell, they do share some similarities and more importantly to me the same spirit. The girls are both tomboys on a journey which leads them to love, tragedy and growth. If you loved Candy and you miss the chaos but could do with less anger (assuming Eliza and Neil drive you insane), you´ll love Sandybell as well.
