PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK PEAK CINEMA.
This show is SO flawless, stainless steel got nothing on this absolutely stain-less of an anime.
This show got EVERYTHING done right, so in this review I will only cover what it mostly shines from and highlight the super good of this show.
Recommend for: *Romance, *Directing, *Production Quality, Character, Pacing, and script
FULL REVIEW:
First and most of all is the directing. I feel like I've been transported to the era where A-1 pictures peak as a studio again, with "Your lie in April". A-1 truly struck
...
gold with this story, and they fully pull out all the stops to make this story the best it could be. The directing is VERY good, as I will discuss on why in details for each aspect later in this review. This have the same quality, if I may say, as the comix films anime movies, which is very captivating and stunning just to experience. [10*+/10]
Firstly is the production quality. I'm not a production quality / animation Andy that much per se, I normally doesn't care much, but HOLY this show have some absolutely STUNNING visuals, as well as some absolutely angelic OST. If I could mute other sounds, and just look at the scenery in this show, with these beautiful sound mixing, editing, and gorgeous OST, I would for hours, just like a documentary. Though I wouldn't because the character, story, and script in this show is also very good. [10/10]
The character in this show is also what make this show good. Everyone truly feels like have their own life, own story. There's BARELY any stereotyping in this show, at most mixed stereotyping with the characters, which I really like. For example, the dude that's the president of the Literature club, could be seen as your typical handsome dependable president, but he's also like weeb stuff, and don't shy about it, which holy BASED ASF. [10/10]
Next is the pacing, this go in very well with the first point I just mentioned (the production quality). We got some good old comedy, that come in snippets, have some good pause to admire the atmosphere of the circumstance its in, then cut. Which is hardly done to this level of perfection. The story is also not too fast, and not too slow, and always keep e laughing at the edge of my seat every time I watch it. [10/10]
Lastly is the romance script. This arguably is the best (on par with directing and production quality). The romance in this show is VERY real and good. By that I mean there's little to none inner dialogue, nor overly excessive sound effects or animations to signify stuff. Sure there's some comedic animation like derp face etc etc. , but most of the time they let it play out with the atmosphere, which make it feel very real. Also with this mentioned, this make the romance on a whole another level, some may thinks it will take too long to progress in the romance department with the show dont excessively and obviously show us, but I would argue otherwise.
This make the romance develops very real. There's no love at first sight here, there's no love just because he's good, love takes time to develop in this show subtly without the show just blaring at us with their inner head dialogue of "OUUUU I love him so much omg" or something like that. Thus make this very real and very interesting and a good time.
In conclusion, I think this show have no flaws. The production quality with the directing already make this show realllly good, but also with the script and pacing and character that's really real, along with the romance that's very subtle and not blaring, make this even more stand out and the best. There's some point I would be cautious about, that is how fast would the romance develop in the future, but I think it will be good from what we've seen this past 3 episode.

A Good Funny parody take on Isekai Genre.
The most comparable anime to this one would be kunosuba, but this take on a more dark tone, with more real life and adult perspective, a bored to death adult writer one as that. As well as this is one of the few isekai that the MC is not from the present day world, but the 1900s instead, so there's also many interesting aspect in that.
Recommend for: Isekai, parody, comedy
Not recommend for, if you don't like: Isekai, Travel/journey style story
Neutral: Animation, production quality, directing
Full review:
First of all, the concept and parody itself is pretty good, funny, and unique.
...
Since the protagonist isn't from the present day world, he find many things that's already cemented itself in isekai as normal as weird things, like concept called "stats" etc. Which in concept by itself, can already make for a pretty fun anime to watch for me, but add in with its parody nature, and the bored to death adult nature of the MC, make this even more funnier. Also the fact that the protagonist is a writer, making fun and self aware jokes to this isekai world is hella funny too. [10/10 comedy, concept]
Secondly, I will talk about the characters, pacing, directing, and world building. The few main prominent characters we have is actually fun, have good and well written story and personality, that when mixed together is very enjoyable to watch by itself, while the side character while only is single used so far, is ok and believable enough, or just a complete goof ball for the sake of the joke [9/10 characters]. The pacing is also pretty good for an isekai and as an anime in general, with average of 3-5 scene / action per episode, make for the perfect pacing for a comedy anime [10/10 pacing].
The directing and world building is pretty ok in this anime. While not too flashy, it did it job, with some above average world building and lore behind it [8/10]. The production quality is also pretty above average for an isekai, and did play well into the comedy and scenes when it's need to [9/10]. Lastly I will mention this for people that want action, there's barely in here, so don't even think of wanting one, it's just not the style of anime.
Last but not least is the message. Many people will barely even expect this, but as most comedy show do, they will always have the lurking message of the anime that will punch out the comedy and drown you with wholesomeness sometime. This anime message is pretty good and actually not one that've been in many anime much, and it also play well into the MC comedy style as well [10/10 message]
Overall, this anime doesn't have much flaws, other than if you don't click with the protag adult cast style, or the journey/travel story style,. The only concern I would left off is that the future of this anime is very shaky still, since they will need to be creative to keep this up and there's no direction toward the end goal right now. If you've watched many isekai and other anime before this, you will find this anime very enjoyable and relatable. Just enjoy it as a comedy parody relief.
My rating as Isekai comedy [9.4/10]
My rating as anime in general [8.7/10]

Laid out masterpiece in the making.
Yes, this anime have potential to be the masterpiece classics level in the making. With very high quality and passionate staff, good laid out story, and very strong world building. This anime got everything good throwing at it.
Recommend for: World building, Directing, Production Quality, Character, Story
Not Recommend for: If you don't like the bullied but secretly OP character troupe.
Full review:
First of all, let me praise it world building, because since the first episode has aired, it got me thinking every time I watch this show of how incredible the world is. It's not a reach for me to say that
...
in 1 ep it's event (in my bias opinion) better than Frieren for the whole season. Coming from the writer of Danmachi, I knew this will be a good world building, and it is. If you like mixed mythology, un-answered lore, and classist social system and history to strive for, this is the world for you. [10+/10]
Next, the directing and production quality of this show is STUNNING. I do not say this lightly when I tell you that this show got some of the best directing, pacing, framing, camera work, and lighting of this season. Sure this might not got the most flashiest of scenes, or animation so fluid that Archimedes would be jealous of. But every single second of this show is beautiful in its own unique way. The moving fabric of character cloth details, the sky, the architecture, and the scenery, is breath taking. [10/10]
Lastly, the story and the character. Right now, it's pretty average. I can see people don't like this story and character styling, because it's the same ol secretly OP got bullied in a classist society where some arbitrary skills define your worth (aware). But this feels different, and that's wholly because of the cast. The Protagonist is the main reason of this, he's not some overlly dumbo, nor overyly good, he just, himself. This make many character in this anime shines through in its own way. The close friend are just there cuz the writer want them to be their, there's some reason to it as well (se ep 2), so overall feels very natural writing and story development.
For the future of the story, I can see this expand into a truly wonderful one, because there's an established "end goal", foreshadow big event and lore, and established characters for it to take places. [9/10]
There's not really a con in this show, other than if you don't like the troupe, or you walk in expecting something you shouldn't, like comedy or something. So Overall, this is a very enjoyable show to watch, great potentials, great visual, and impactful story.

The most real romance anime ever!? There's no spark, no love at first sight, no fall in hand dumb romance moments. Its just really 2 people, falling in love with each other slowly through daily occurrence and some workplace drama without realising it. There's no blatant hint, the show doesn't even acknowledge it with some sound effects / animation effect about the love, its all just feelings. {Btw, episode 4 is very important to this show, that's why I hold off this review till now, and if you give this anime a try, watch till the end of ep. 4}
Recommend for: Drama, Feels, romance, Yuri,
...
Voice acting
Not Recommend for: Comedy
As I said at first paragraph, the show is very subtle with the romance, but also very progressive toward the aspect. There's no in your face sparkly love styles, nor acknowledge of it. This can be good or bad up to you, but for anyone that at least watched some romance shows, this can be a breath of fresh air. So this bring me to my first point, the Directing. The directing doesn't stand out that much, but also subtle about everything. Sometime this show got so much drama it can forget what it is at time, but will always bring it back masterfully and in a meaningful way in the romance plot line. The OST, animation, and especially the VOICE ACTING support this FULLY as well. [Directing 9/10] [Production Quality 7.5/10]
The voice acting tho, MWAH, perfection. This anime is one of the anime that have that MASTERPIECE voice acting scene. The quality also prolong through as per industry standard, but damn that one scene in one of the episode is VERY good, the sheer feelings radiate through my screen directing to my brain, and I love. (ofc as expect from an anime about VAs, it should be good, and it is) [Voice acting 10+/10]
The drama is one unexpected good thing from this show. Even though the show isn't listed as a drama in its genre, means this probably will be a not recommended thing since its out of the scope its selling at, but well if you enjoy some drama (its not that much, at longest the drama only lasted like 1.5 ep). So if you enjoy irl relatable drama, it's very fun. [Drama 8/10]
Lastly the com in the rom-com. What should I say, it's mid at best. The comedy barely exist in this show, or at most not that good that I already forgot all of it. [6/10]
IN CONCLUSION:
The yuri? good, the character? good. What's phenomenal about it? the realism directing and the voice acting. The unexpecting drama can be good if you enjoy it, its not that long nor prominent, but there to spice up the romance of course. So, definitely reccomend.
My rating as a romance anime: 9.5/10 (-0.5 for comedy)

One of the most unique isekai I've ever seen. It's not just an mc power change, or a wack world building change, but a completely different take on how to approach fantasy isekai story. The MC isn't OP in any combat abilities in any unique ways, but instead have the ability to see people weakness and strength then need to learn to forge good relations or bad one with them, is such a fun premise. It will more focus on mind games, psychology, and politics, more than fighting.
Recommend for: Mind games, Politics, Character, Directing

THE Potential CONS:
Lets get the cons out of the way first.
...
First of all, it's production quality is pretty average for an isekai standard. Not that bad that it make you question in the middle of the show, so good enough to support the show [7/10]. So if you enjoy flashy scenes, or epic OST, this might not be for you. There's no prominent story line, other than to grow stronger right now, and is a pretty shenanigans story[6/10], so depends on you if you like that or not, however, the character IS what making this story shine, which will be talked about on the next section.
THE PROS:
The characters in this anime is VERY good. As you might expect from the gimmick of the story, it's about having the right people, and making the right conversations, so of course you would need good character to pull that off since it's literally the gimmick. So every named characters, have some pretty good writing, with non 1 dimensional writing. Most side character and the small villains right now seem a bit still pretty 1 dimensional, as they serve just from scene to scene. So overall very good [9/10].
Next is the directing. Even with the average production quality as it would go after the budget, the directing still shines through, and make you FEEL for the show, the characters, and the story. It's very reminiscence with Frieren, where the directing focus on the journey, the beautiful music and scenery, the life of the people of the land, and the powerful talking, overall mix in for the maximum feels and is very aw inspiring [10/10]. The pacing is also perfect! Not too boring but also have progressions. [9/10]
Lastly is the psychology. With in just 3 episodes, they prove that they can make good and realistic talks, mind games, and writing. The protagonist doesn't get it easy in this show. Even with his appraisal skills, he still need to talk to them, most characters have their own circumstance, they won't be win over that easy, so he would need to adapt, and learn to understand people for the better. [10/10]
IN CONCLUSION:
This show have very good gimmick, with the characters, the story, and the directing to support that gimmick and story to the fullest. The production quality might be average, but it's good enough with the very good directing that it is very enjoyable.
Recommendation:
If you like journey animes, with characters development, feel good vibes, and portray the nature of human being (the good, the bad, and the reality) very well. This show is SOOOO for you. [If you enjoy Frieren, u might like this too]

What a... mess? This anime feels like more of a crowd pleaser or an advertisement for the game. It doesn't know what it want to do. Like you're gonna be an action show? a cgdct show? a drama? a mystery? what is it, and it trying to be everything is such a mess. Even though it listed genre as action and fantasy, it even fail at such, and all because the failing world building, with no prominent plot to stand on. No amount of sob emoji can save this one i'm afraid.
Recommend for: Animation, Production quality, CGDCT, Character
Not Recommend for: Writing, World building, Story
FULL REVIEW:
Background:
...
I didn't play the Blue Archive game, so I have no knowledge of it, and purely review this as an anime critic.
THE PROS:
This show would succeed as a cgdct. The character design is very good, but the plot does interfere with it and does sometime do deus ex machina over the character in some place, will get into that in the cons section. Though overall the character design is ok, there's some stereotyping but also have some uniqueness to each character, and not all of them have a strict 1 personality to stick, so it's really refreshing and feels real. [8/10]
The animation is also beautiful on the eyes to watch, the style fits the show really on whatever mess they're trying to do. The comedy also got complimented by the animation really well too [10/10]. With some perfect mixing of the soundtrack, not overused, and overall not make the show boring [8/10]. Overall very good production quality alone.
THE CONS:
First of all, the world building is one of the biggest flaw. From someone totally not related to the game, this show fail to make sense of the world to the viewers. Even if the world is VERY VERY interesting in its own right, not showing it or even explaining it in a meaningful way make the interesting world feels more like a mess rather than a cool world to be intrigue about. I first expect it to slowly explaing / show to us the world through the story, but 3 ep in and nothing in sight. [4/10]
Next is the story, the story might be good enough on the gacha game standard, but when translated to an anime, the standard is held much higher, and this show fails at having an interesting good story. Even if it's on a comedy / cgdct standard (expect to have chill plot/non at all), it's still below average. This wouldn't be a problem if its laid the ground work for the world building better than this, to let the audience know what to expect of the world, and what characters in this world decision are made from / their environment. So with the unsaid world building, the story took a hit from it. [5/10]
Last and the worst, is the writing. The one thing that make me say this is episode 2. THE WHOLE OF EPISODE 2 IS LITERALLY FABRICATED FROM A DEUS EX MACHINA, just because they want to do something. Full reason with spoiler can be found under the note of this anime on my profile list. Though to conclude, bending a character thoughts and action just to make an event happen is not right. Not giving the reason to that decision is even not more right. Even with the "caustious" argument that that character could be doing it because they're cautious, then it should be the whole group, not just 1 character. So it's just the biggest most blatant plot hole that do effect the plot and story a lot. [1/10]
THE NEUTRAL:
The action is pretty good to action anime standards. With some uniqueness to it. Though flops on the choreography and sensible, since it's all just power blasting everywhere. [7/10]
OVERALL:
In conlusion, this show got some good production quality to back it up, with some good characters and cool unique style to the world. However, its flaw with the conveying of the world building, combined with the writing that's low quality and many plot-holes everywhere, really drag the show down, along even with its shenanigans story.
RECCOMENDATION:
If you enjoy cgdt, guns, and funni stuff, go for it.
If you are sensible to sensible plot, may be try it out, but might not please you.
Overall score as an action fantasy: 7/10

Another Repackaged Normal Highschool Action Shonen with the same formula, purely carried by the fight choreography.
Recommend for: Animation, Fight Choreography
Not Recommend for: Character, Plot, Comedy
Let's get the good thing out of the way first. First of all, the fight choreography is a MASTERPIECE in itself to bare witness, for a normal hand to hand combat. The fight scene is so good its remind me of old Chinese fights movie, where you can see every move and its impact clearly [10+/10]. Reinforced by it's very BEAUTIFUL animation, with all aspect of production quality very good, even for action Shonen standards [10/10].
However, that's where all the good
...
stuff ends. First, the plot is VERY formulaic of a normal high school action anime. Nothing of note, original, or unique so far [7/10]. The comedy is also very Shonen comedy, aim for kids, which if you like it then good for you [6/10].
The WORST thing by a mile with this show though, is its character writing. Even though character writing in Shonen anime is understandably not that good compared to other genre, this show take it another level lower. EVERY character, even the protagonist, is very 1 dimensional and stereotypical. The cool senior, the screaming sidekick, the emo side kick, the cool but chill friend, the calm cool and handsome antagonist, and ofc the all mighty good protagonist. While the protagonist is arguably unique, it's still very much 1 dimensional unique, and would need to see more improvement. They didn't even hide the basically copied Gojou Satoru (cool senior) into the show, with the same VA and character design! All the same stuff repackaged into a delinquent theme. Character development? BOOM a flashback, about to loose? BOOM a flashback. Overall the very same stuff is NOTHING innovative at all. [3/10]
The delinquents theme isn't even that good either. It's just a re-themed fantasy action Shonen show (namely Jujutsu Kaisen) with just the down to earth style and more cruelty. Can be refreshing for you if you haven't tried a delinquents show before, but overall very the same with other theme. [8/10]
In conclusion, the fight choreography and animation alone can be worth the watch, but honestly the other stuff really bring down this show potential a lot. With the bad character writing, lazy same ol plot, and the brain dead comedy where a character screaming is funny. For a new anime watcher, this can be fun for them and is worth a try! But for anyone who even watch some Action Shounen before, this is the same ol stuff, and there's many other Action Shounen show that worth more the time to watch than this one.
[Overall, as an Action Shonen Anime: 8/10]

Generic Isekai? YES! A Fun Anime? YES!
Recommended for: Creative Animation, Animation, Choreography
This anime might be a normal generic isekai of the season yes, but it's genuinely very good and fun. While the premise isn't that as unique as most isekai these day, the world building, story telling, and execution is very well done. Making an Anime fun isn't something to be glance over, this one is refreshing and a joy to watch.
The main reason why it's pretty fun is the animation creativity. They use different kind of animating and keep switching things up while also perfectly fit for the scene to not get you bored
...
(similar to Bocchi the rock etc.). The show also has its own unique animation style, which can be a good or bad thing up to you. This also count the change of pacing, story telling, and directing [9/10].
The Choreography though is one of the things this show did very well. The sword fighting training clearly shows how good they plan for the fight scene, and every movement and action has a reason to it. This is also true with the magic fight scenes. Each spell casting is thought out of why it's casted, and the way it's cast is also very unique and creative, unlike many shows that's just power blasting everything or just picking a random spell to lower the opponent's hp and win. [10/10]
For the other stuff, the story is alright, there's nothing much to it and a pretty much shenanigan style story right now [7/10] . The character are still very one dimensional, albeit interesting, still got a lot of room to improve [6/10]. The world building while is interesting are still a mess and just insert random stuff right now [8/10]. Production quality is good for an isekai, the animation and OST is good [9/10].
Overall a very enjoyable show. Outstanding for its fight choreography, fight creativity, and animation creativity. Other things is pretty mid as with generic isekai anime, but it doesn't really take away the charm of the show that much.

BEST VILLAINESS ANIME EVER
This anime IS the best villainess anime ever produced right now, this is not an overstatement (at least atm with 3 ep). This anime fly under my radar completely at first, but then i saw its score and need to check it out, and it went over my expectation. Everything went well going for it, and masterfully done all the way.
*RECOMMEND FOR*: Directing, Character, and World building
Here's the review:
First of all, don't mind the title/gimmick much. The title/gimmick while is at play at first, it dim down a lot through the series. However, it still recall back to it masterfully
...
done by still making her previous lifes matters. Not just that, but they made every important character from the lifes impactful in the current life as well. The story itself also isn't bad. While overall story is pretty normal for a villainess & fantasy medieval style anime, it's done with very good integrity, and the world building went very well supporting the story and character dynamics. The politics right now is not that intense, so that might not be what you want to look forward too in this show.
[Story 9/10, World building 9.5/10]
The Character here is one of the reason that make this anime very good. Every character (that have a name) feels alive and have a role in it. The way they interact is very natural and is not force at all. Everyone has their own deep personality. Especially with the 2 MC, both of them have very good and interesting dynamic going on, and is very likeable overall.
[Character 10/10]
The Directing is the HIGHLIGHT of this anime. The animation is very good even when compare to all anime standards. No scene is lacking in term of animation, and the way they animate and art style is very good and flow with the amotion in the show. The sound directing is also as good. The pacing also is very nominal. The scale where they pace is very good for the drama and romance. With around 2-3 main event per episode. Nothing I could review on much as it's perfect for a drama, romance, emotional, fantasy show.
[Production, Directing, Pacing 10/10]
Overall, everything about this show is perfect. The things it stand out and perfectly done is the directing and the characters, with also all other things being good to supplement it further more.
My score: 10/10 (as a fantasy & romance / villainess anime)

HOTTEST DUMPSTER FIRE ANIME EVER!!!
This is that type of anime its sooo bad it made it good.
This anime IS a mess yes, but that's what make it fun! This is the most cringe, dumb, fun anime I've had in a while. It feels like there's 10 storyboard writer arguing in the room about their isekai fantasy idea, and they decide to smash them all together + 1 OP mc so that he can navigate through the messy world they've made.
First of all, the story is very monotone, and have million of plot holes in it. There's no real goal establish for the story, and
...
more of a journey. The world building is also such a mess. Every new episode they just gonna whip out a new troupe just for the sake of the plot, making it sooo messy and unpredictable (tho still have some integrity even with all the mess). [*6/10, star for interesting ness]
The character at the moment also is still pretty one dimensional. There's some potential for the male protagonist, but other character (including the female protagonist) is very generic, and have little to none personality to them. [5/10]
Lastly, the production value is average at best. Very generic OST, animations, power system, and etc. [7/10]
In conclusion, its just turn your brain off, have fun and laugh at it. The world building is very interesting albeit messy and deus ex machina everywhere. Character are very 1 dimensional. With average production quality. I would reccomend to only enjoy the mess of a world building it is, and the fun is with in not knowing what dumb plot twist they will make.
Overall 7/10 [as an isekai/fantasy]
