Like the first two episodes has all the tropes. Here I’ll say all the tropes in one go: “help! I got sent to another world with my entire class but I got a shitty power so I was cast out but I learned to harness my shitty power in a desolate land/ruin/dungeon so now I’m going to use my OP power to gain allies and take revenge on the person/god/system that summoned me here”. And I ate this shit up LMAOO is it literally just a ... copy paste of all the current popular isekai but with bad CGI? Absolutely.

Despite all the isekais in the world, there’s only 4 you can watch that has those tropes but the rest of them are either a slice of life(picture “help I brought my smartphone to another world” and “help! I’m just a real estate agent but now I’m a princess!!”) or essentially incel porn (picture “help! I died a looser but now I’m a lord!?” and “help! I was a shut in who next kissed a girl and now I’m married to a harem of elves!?”)

Honestly I hope this does well so we get more shitty OP mc filler isekais and not the ones i mentioned above.

The CGI is bad for sure, but the plot is actually interesting. This show has one major redeeming factor and it's that the MC actually Kills the bad guys. Precious few anime these days have realistic interactions between good and evil. Evil characters need to die, or else they will come back and cause major issues. That's the only reason I'm continuing this show. The MC has reasonable reactions to situations as well. If this was well animated it could be a 7 or 8/10. But alas we are stuck with 5/10 due to budget issues.

If you like adventure anime then you might like this. ... It's quite funny to see MC destroy everything with a couple spells.

find it strange why many people overestimate the good or bad of anime according to CG quality, I mean to put aside that quality, you should give comments more focused on the quality of the anime story, because I don't think CG quality has any effect, you can enjoy anime just with a good story. And the comment should contain criticism not insults because making CG is not easy, THEREFORE THE PERSON WHO INSULTS IS A F00L
As for the story itself, until now it's just ordinary, I don't know what the future holds. This anime is ... suitable for those of you who want to relax xixixi

Failure Frame while at the time of this review currently has a 6star rating which I personally think usually Animes of that quality can sometimes be hidden gems honestly I can’t say that this show will be one of em but the odd use of CGI and 2D is very off putting and can easily see why it would bother some. Thankfully I do think there’s some redeeming qualities about it so my rating will probably change over time as of this review but currently 4 episodes in and while the manga has a similar rating to the anime it could be a good binge ... series if you have nothing to watch as it does have that twist on Isekai being a pretty Edgy MC to boot but his reasoning is justifiable and kinda gives me Shield Hero vibes for what happens to him if you can stomach the bad mix match of CGI this might be a pretty mid watch but so far for what it’s worth it’s been pretty so so.

Story: 8 (Unique twist at the start, Pretty interesting concept, Darker version of Shield Hero and a bit of fan service but nothing too over the top yet.)

Animation: 5 (Here’s the bad sadly this ones a head scratcher for me the animation actually looks decent at times when they selectively have scenes randomly that’ll go CGI for some reason which Just looks off putting or random with the transitioning from 2D style to CGI I might be being a bit generous with the 5 but there’s some decent 2D in this and I don’t think games or anime make or break with Animation/Graphics imo.)

Characters: 6 (Nothing to really say atm with 4 episodes but aside from the MC being a edgy Naofumi a bit and is built on hatred and revenge, the Elf girl is mysterious but interesting and a few of his classmates and choice of main antagonist is rather Unique but for some reason everyone is basically twisted aside from the few pure characters.)

Sound: 9 (The Opening and Ending theme for this was rather good I personally think they’re both Top 10 this season for Opening and Ending themes aside from that the Quality of the Sound during the anime is probably as good as it gets so no complaints here.)

Enjoyment: 6 (For what it’s worth I think it’s got the potential to be better than it’s worth but that’s only if the Story gets better even if the off putting CGI weighing it down I think it has a lot more pros but just one heavy Con as a anchor otherwise this probably would be a solid 7 rating by most folk. Regardless at least it’s bingeable.)

To keep it simple, it's based on a Manga that is a revenge story and Isekai. The aspect of the Manga that was questionable was the pacing of the revenge, it was dozens of chapters and and the MC had finished only his first "quest" (the Witch, Erika) only for it to be a dead end. Not even close to reuniting with his brat classmates, let alone the Goddess. Basically, it's slow, and given the limitations of Anime, it's going to be a very long time before anything resembling revenge is shown on screen. Also the romance (of sorts) with Seras takes forever to happen ... as well, the anime is going to show them in their early phase of being overly formal and cold with each other. Which is a shame as Seras had cute moments of being flustered and smitten later on when they get closer

So far the Anime itself has seemed to lack the unique art style of the Manga which I enjoyed. The look of the 2D is fairly generic and there is a lot of not-great 3D work that has a cheapness to it.

I am hoping Eve shows up at least. That and I hope they don't try a 1:1 adaptation and instead pick up the pace with the revenge, have Touka reunite and/or even fight some classmates or just some interaction so we aren't waiting till season 6 for the payoff.

Quick review here;
This show is an absolute menace. It does not care about being the most generic, cringy and poorly animated show ever. Unnecessary CGI, non existent world and no well written character or story. This anime made a very risky move and put everything onto one thing. Make the main Villian (AKA the goddes) to be the biggest jerk and the viewer will continue watching it, untill that douchebag finally gets her ass kicked. While our hero pulls of the biggest cliches ever! Oh, he has a hidden OP ability, he met a beautiful elf woman and helps her, childhood friend, fanservice and more. ...
Overall: If you are a pure isekai junkie like me, you should check it out, and to anyone else this anime is simply horrible. There is nothing else to say about this show.

Its all about how you feel about the story development!

This anime have a good and hooking vendeta kind of story plus a nice challenge for the MC to deal with his abilities.

However, i need to warn you, 3D animation is terrible on this one, unnecessary moments drawn with this tecnique certanlly can make you drop this one. I have mixed feelings until now, i mean, after what i said the narrative is OK but i want to see the vendeta plot, it keeps pulling me back to new eps.

Overall is a OK 2D anime, with terrible 3D animation moments.

If you like a OK vendeta ... story, this could match with you, but dont forget - 3D animation ARE INDEED TERRIBLE.

Alright, so this one is a bit back and forth- on one hand, the story isn't the worst. Even if you like mindless entertainment, generic tropes, and simple fanservice that is usually typical of this type of show, I'm still not sure I can recommend this. The show itself is unsettling, to the point where it feels as though it's more CGI than animation, and not by any means good CGI, either. The animation is usually well done, but places where it would shine the most are completely outshined by jarring low quality graphics-- basically, you can guarantee that every scene that isn't a closeup ... or a still shot is going to be CGI.

The tropes prevalent in the show are to be expected, and I welcome the idea of villainous or vengeful characters, and am a firm believer that we should see them more often, but the poorly done quality cannot be overstated.

Trust no one, murder your friends, be a sociopath but have your own sigma code and protect the deserving, be driven by cold murderous revenge but care deeply about cultural ritual over the dead, be the weakest but be the strongest, ramp up the dread then pull the reverse card, try to be edgy but stay inside the broadcasting restrictions.

Hazurewaku is a mess.

It's a remarkably teenage boy show. It's also mining in a vein that has pretty much been tapped out, but in its defense it knows the rules of its genre. The show isn't brave enough to be grossly edgy so it is ... somewhat perfunctory, that being said it's kinda pointless to even try to go all in on edgy, Redo of Healer has already gone as far as you're likely to be able to go and get aired - and it was awful. Hazurewaku does not have that level of commitment to being awful. So it's just treading ground that's already been done to death, it's a little bit of Talentless Nana meets Arifureta meets Classroom of the Elite all of which were flawed in their own ways, which Hazurewaku picks up and carries on with while not having the same level of highs that they had (well, Arifureta didn't have much by way of heights).

If I wanted to be generous I might say it could have done something interesting by showing the super powers wearing away the characters' moral boundaries, but the show doesn't do that, the characters' innate (and very crudely 2D) characteristics are revealed instantly and the show just charges ahead with it. There is space for something interesting to creep out of this confused and shallow looking melange; resolving the question of if MC is driven by getting revenge in the real world how does that interact with him developing godlike powers in an isekai and those powers presumably not carrying forward into the real world for example...

My opinion is largely unmoved by the presence of CGI screen filler, looks a bit weird but not enough to distract away from the already distracting story and dialogue, but your mileage may vary on that.

TL;DR: a just about competent presentation of a done to death genre which you might enjoy if you're looking for something edgy that knows it doesn't have a fortitude to do cannibalism and every other scene being SA.

It seems like the shield hero is the inspiration for anime these days. You got your rejected main character with no apparent skills to be sent to his death, but of course, he becomes OP.

It's nice to have an edgy character fighting in the name of revenge and hatred, but of course, he has a good heart, right?

The animation is poor in my opinion, The fights are weak, the monsters are ugly, and I feel like it could have been better.

Isekais are getting a bit overwhelming each season, and you hope to find one that will get you. Unfortunately, this one might not be ... the one.

I hope this anime will improve, but the premise is overplayed. Who knows? Maybe it will turn out better.

My recommendation is to watch this if you are looking for another edgy isekai, but I compare this to grocery store sushi: it is priced, not as good as the real deal, and never fills you up.

Oh i did mention that this show has some amazing animation now didnt i?
Well half of it do be amazing, 15/10 points to the studio for the amazing bits, the rest of the show is made up by anime cgi.
If your not bothered by anime cgi then this show might just be a banger for you but for the rest of us, anime cgi makes this shi* unwatchable.

Now if your not disgusted by anime cgi and want to know what else this show has ... in store for you:
- Edgy, dumb, stupid, chuunibyou Mc,
- Unnecessarily weird fan service,
- Overused plot,
- No surprises as everything is predictable.
- Unnecessarily perverse npcs.
- Monsters and npcs who all let Mc do his internal dialogues before attacking him…
- The list goes on but you get the point.

Me having watched the first 3 episodes:
"Master, what is it that I hear? Who are
those people so defeated by their pain?"
And he to me: "This miserable way
is taken by the sorry souls of those
who lived without disgrace and without praise.

SOOoo, what seemed like a show with awesome animation but trashy characters and plot, quickly revealed its true self: a show with lots of anime cgi and overused tropes.

I will keep watching though, as im a huge M.
