It delivered the basis of the manga, but I felt like it left too many gaps. As someone who read the manga after watching it, maybe that's 100% the anime's proposal to make you interested in reading it, but at the same time I understand that it's a short season and an anime that no one expected to be successful, so everything needed to have a beginning and an end in a direct line, without leaving room for continuations, but unfortunately it doesn't fully fulfill the real connection that the two have, it doesn't show enough for them to be completely in love, the art is incredible and delivers the emotions conveyed in the manga as a whole, but I don't see the depth of their relationship exposed as it should. Maybe with an extra movie or a 2nd season, this feeling of gaps between them will finally be filled.
