Clannad is a masterpiece that knits together the elements of slice of life, drama, and romance with the great depth of emotional impact. And this story builds around Tomoya Okazaki, who is a disenchanted high school student, and his journey of evolving and self-discovery, which is mostly possible for the kind-hearted Nagisa Furukawa.
Clannad is a heartwarming, slow-paced anime, and sometimes it also shows the heartbreaking theme which is a more attractive thing about Clannad. Different or unique type of character or cast, through those memorable characters and their dream and struggle. It also helps us to relate more to the Clannad protagonist, Tomoya

This show is painfully generic, to the point where it feels like a project designed purely for an animation house to flex its muscles, without any thought given to substance. The characters are boring, the plot is boring, it's just Mashle mixed with Black Clover, played 100% straight. There are occasional moments where the plot shows a few signs of life, but it's almost instantly buried under a mountain of insipid dialogue. I really cannot imagine why more thought was not given to how to make this show interesting, given how much love and care clearly went into the animation, which brings

Its controversial. But it's like that to tell a story.
Yes, the MC is a first shown as a pedophile/creep, but he's shown to change for the better.
The anime a strong "slow burner", they practically spend the first few episodes just building his character and who he is, and his regrets.
He's not your typical "Cool Guy" or anything, he's a sad pathetic worthless individual at first, someone you hate, and that's because, the largest part of this anime, and to me, the most important factor that makes it unique, is the development and slow change you see over time with how the MC acts and behaves. ...

Wow, definitely didn't expect to see specials that are shown as if they were a single episode of a larger series of the 2 shows worked on in the original Shirobako.
If I could rate the 2 episodes individually, the first based on Exodus is a 4/10. Didn't much care for it. It was novel in its existence, but not good.
The 2nd though, based on Third Aerial Girls Squad is actually really good! I could genuinely see myself enjoying that as a full anime and give that one an 8/10. In fact, I wish it was a full anime!

There are three aspects of this show that I want highlight as what I feel makes it somewhat special-
1.) The visual presentation. The animation looks pretty good, and while not entirely consistent across the board, there are some breathtaking sequences with some excellent key frame work. What's more, the visual style of this show is gorgeous, with bold line work, and a vibrant, unique color palette, employing bright greens, yellows, reds and blues, mixed with more muted tones you might see in a 90s anime. This is particularly noticeable in the intro, which I love. The cinematography and scene framing ...

I was hoping for the anime to at-least have some form of character development, but honestly, it didn't. Although its an alright watch if you are just planning to pass time, & don't want to focus on story, this is just a crap.
It lacks the character development, or any meaningful story, the entire premise is "Dude gets OP, cheats at life" and nothing else. The dude literally gets handed everything, and yes I've read the title of the anime, but come on, you'd think he'd at-least had to hone is skills, or face some form of difficulty that would form a change in character, but ...

"Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World?" is a textbook example of how to take a genre filled with potential and deliver something utterly uninspired. The anime is disappointingly bland, riddled with clichés, and suffers from a poorly constructed story.
Let me break it down:
1. Bland:
If you've seen one "reincarnation" or "isekai" anime, you've seen them all—at least, that's how this series feels. It tries to disguise itself as something slightly different by opting for an alternate universe setting, but it’s the same old formula underneath. Every familiar trope you can think of is here: an overpowered (OP) main character? Check. A childhood friend? Check. ...

Really beautiful artwork and animation. The story is realistically paced and the characters feel very human and not exaggerated as might be expected in romcom anime series. Watching how the main guy interact with his friends and develop should be a treat, maybe if they potentially progress to something further than just friends. Hopefully it doesn’t just turn into a straight up harem though; I would be disappointed by that. I found the first girl, Anna, annoying at the beginning, but some of her actions are actually charming and sweet. I believe this show will be one of the gems of the season.

I will get straight to the point, Bocchi the rock is the most overrated anime I heard of to this day, the only good thing about this anime is the music 8/10 and the animation but sometimes it slacks off 8/10.

I swear, the first few episodes were like trying to get a cat to take a bath - it was a struggle, and I was this close to giving up. But, I'd heard great things about it, so I persisted. And boy, am I glad I did.
Around the midpoint, things started to pick up, and I mean, really pick up. The plot got twisty, the characters got more complex, and I found myself actually caring about what happened next. And then, the final fight scene happened... Akatsu and Zwei going head-to-head? Mind. Blown. I was screaming at my screen like a lunatic, and my roommate ...

I'm a sucker for band animes because I'm a huge fan of K-On and Bocchi (which inspired me to learn guitar), so I gave this one a try. And it's pretty good.
The music in this anime is great, as it should be. Banger after banger. I like how the characters have different outfits in each episode, which is rare for anime to do. The CGI animation is good, it looks really detailed at times, especially during the concert scenes. DON'T let the CGI discourage you because you are missing out on a gem. Honestly, I rewatched this with a friend, and it's even better than I remembered.
The art style is gorgeous, as to be expected by Madhouse. The sound design is amazing, each song and sound effect beautifully encapsulate the mood, the gravity of the situation, and the feelings of the characters. The story it tells is beautiful and they don't hold back or skim over important details. There's not a single boring episode that made my ADHD kick in; I didn't want to look away for a second. Sousou No Frieren… an anime with interesting premise and great aspirations. This show was certainly nice and pleasurable to watch. I understand why the anime is beloved and well received, but the praises seems “weak” in counterposition of the reasons and feelings that makes me to question several points of the argument. I will like to explain these points in this review.
Story (5/10): The story walks together with the premise. It’s focused around Frieren, the new characters and the memories about her old group. Frieren’s group are in a journey searching rare magics without any other specific goal, just the “skies”. This isn't exciting or ...

Date a Live… is just a generic trashy auto-insertion cliché show, with the most boring protagonist that even Kirito feels a true character in comparison. Everything is related around this bland protagonist and his harem of generic waifus. The plot is just the girls falling in love with him in the flattest and cliché form meanwhile they have dull melodramatic and fanservice scenes. The conflict or seriousness of this series is completely stupid and meaningless. The protagonist ignores all of the consequences of everything that happens because: “muh, nobody will hurt my waifus. I must protect all of them”.

Generic romance anime ruined by an even more generic incest subplot.
It's like AI-generated background music in anime form. There's almost nothing new or interesting here. It's an anime that has been made countless times before (and will probably be made countless times again). At least Bunny Girl Senpai had some interesting supernatural elements to it.
Average animes can be enjoyable from time to time. Not every anime has to be a new, ground-breaking masterpiece. Sometimes, it's okay to just be cookie-cutter time-sink to enjoy.
However, Alya-san is so generic it's almost offensive.
Your time and attention would be better off elsewhere.

Shiki will not appeal to everyone, but it is an excellent, shocking, and thought-provoking take on what "life" means.
A quintessential small-town horror anime, Shiki tells the tale of a remote, isolated village struggling against what seems to be a never-before seen, and unavoidably deadly, illness. Its characters vary greatly in age and occupation, and are myriad in number; easily several dozen are named, and at least somewhat pertinent to the story. As the story progresses, and a trickle of mysterious deaths builds into a deluge, these characters help- or hinder- the investigation into the origin of this "disease". Shiki keeps you on ...

if you want a funny and slice of life donghua/anime, i recommend this. The characters and storyline is really funny and if you know your Chinese well it'll be even funnier without seeing the subtitles. Overall, I think the story is unique and its not really predictable. The characters are really funny and is designed in a way that the watcher(my opinion!) likes. The main character is sort of relatable. The show also breaks the fourth wall sometimes but that makes it funnier lol

So I finished up the Witchblade anime this evening, and also finally got through vol 1 of The Complete Witchblade hardcover editions of the original comic. I have to say this is a really great watch. And the read is good too. Though the stories are unrelated (they take place in the same universe), they are both really good. And I definitely miss comics and anime that harken back to a time when the "edges" weren't rounded off of all media and everything made "safe". Not only does this series (and the comic books) have a good story, they also have plenty of titilation and

I absolutely love those laid-back, delightful animes that let you kick back and relax! There’s nothing quite like curling up in your chair or on your bed, ready to enjoy some worry-free viewing. This anime totally fits the bill! I really appreciate shows that make you think a little but are still lighthearted. Plus, it had some genuinely funny moments that brought a big smile to my face. I feel like it’s only going to get better with each season, and I can’t wait to see where it goes!

This is the type of show that probably shouldn't work, especially not for me. I'm generally dismissive of ecchi, especially when it feels gratuitous, and this show kind of leans into that with all the breasts on display and scenes of sexual arousal. I also generally don't like harems, yet this show leans into that with Kintaro picking up women episode after episode only to leave them chasing after him. Couple that with a horned up lead who seems to fall for every woman and toilet he finds but is somehow great at everything he tries and this should really be putting me off...

If I were to rate only episodes 1,2,7,8 this would be 8/10, but for some reason someone decided to throw away budget for another 4 (lower budget) episodes with filler. And the last episode went unreasonably hard on animation.
So you get 2 episodes of story, 4 episodes of shounen filler (training, zenitsu beying annoying af, ppls faces melting with emotions,..) and then you get over the top epic finale with insane amount of slow-mo flex.
This season could have easily be a movie or 4ep OVA and I would be happy, instead I dropped it half way thru and just now finished it, surprised it ...

**Overlord Season 4: A Complex Journey with a Divisive Protagonist**
*Overlord* Season 4 is a season that left me with conflicting emotions, largely due to the direction taken with its central character, Ainz Ooal Gown. While the series continues to deliver on its dark fantasy premise with rich world-building and intricate political maneuvering, my growing discomfort with Ainz as a protagonist made this season a more challenging watch.
From the beginning, Ainz has always been a morally ambiguous character, but in Season 4, this ambiguity tipped more toward outright villainy. His decisions and actions throughout the season made it increasingly difficult for me to root for him. ...

It delivered the basis of the manga, but I felt like it left too many gaps. As someone who read the manga after watching it, maybe that's 100% the anime's proposal to make you interested in reading it, but at the same time I understand that it's a short season and an anime that no one expected to be successful, so everything needed to have a beginning and an end in a direct line, without leaving room for continuations, but unfortunately it doesn't fully fulfill the real connection that the two have, it doesn't show enough for them to be completely in love, the art

Violet Evergarden was the anime that helped me get out of my anime slump and I couldn't have made a better decision in my life. tl;dr: A death battle anime purely about the battles, but with pretty good battles.
This anime has the standard battle game premise that involves a group of people being given supernatural powers, and then forced to fight each other in a systematic fashion with a variety of different rules and match types. As far as this season gets, absolutely no background has been provided on who’s running things or what their goals is. There’s not even a hint of mystery or foreshadowing. It doesn’t seem to touch the subject at all. As such, the plot is centered entirely on the fights themselves.

Golden Boy is a classic 1990s ecchi that has a lot of really funny moments, but also a lot of extremely uncomfortable ones. Each episode focuses on the main protagonist, Kintarou, getting a new part time job to fulfill his 2 desires in life: to study more about life and to lust over an attractive woman. Shoushimin is pretty much in the same vein as Hyouka, so if you liked that series, you'll probably like this. Shoushimin is subtle in how it handles its characters and scenarios. Rather than having a major overarching driving plot that's obvious from the beginning, it takes an approach where each seemingly-disconnected mystery pushes things forward a little bit, telling us more about the characters, their circumstances, backstory, and where they're going from here. Hyouka does this too. What Shoushimin offers on the surface even if you're not really invested yet, is great sound, breathtaking cinematic visuals, and a relaxing pace that invites the viewer to

Name a greater fall-off than this show. They built so many interesting plot points just for them to lead to boring conclusions/explanations or to no conclusion/explanation at all. At a little bit over the halfway mark, the show peaks and could’ve ended up as an 8/9 out of 10, but it just keeps going downhill from there. Might be worth watching just for 02 in the first half, but afterwards, I would clock out. My anime list is really making me make this review longer than it should be just like the show in question. Nana Toshi is a 2-episode science fiction based on the manga with the same name.
It offers a small glimpse into the manga featuring a short battle between two city nations.

I'm just gonna jump right into this review. This is quite easily my favorite Pokemon anime of all time. My views may be biased since I watched this as a kid, but whatever.
I may even say that this short, 4 episode series is better than the original anime, as much as I like that one too.

I randomly decided to dive into this anime, not expecting much from it—I thought it might just be your typical, forgettable romance, maybe even a reverse harem. But wow, right from the first episode, I realized I was totally wrong! This reincarnation story turned out to be way more hilarious than I ever imagined. Sure, there were some middle parts that felt a little like filler, but honestly, I was grinning through most of the episodes!

This anime is so bad it forced me to write my first review on MAL. The basic outline of the story is the reincarnation of a patissier into a medieval world, where we meet him by the name of Pastry Mille Morteln. Is this a review? Is this my ramblings while high? Did I enjoy this season?
Yes.
Yes to all.
This season covers the arc where I dropped the manga 10 years ago. In manga form, to young ol' me, this was too much unnecessary drama for the sake of making the story longer. I gotta say, the medium added a lot in terms of watchability. In this instance, I was able to read the characters, what they were thinking, the stage of life they're going through, the type of people they are a lot more. It made it so much more enjoyable, it was cute.
I re-watched the whole ...
Yes.

A series that in my opinion has more merit than it deserves, look at the series it is not completely bad but they showed it to me as the best series this year that will have an amazing story but when I saw it it seemed more like an ordinary series, yes it is a trip in a post-apocalyptic world but nothing more, it does not bring us a new proposal and if it does it seems more like a copy of different series that converged here, from my point of view for a series to work it must hook you from the beginning and ...

A series about zombies and labor exploitation is the way I can define this wonder, most zombie apocalypse series give us a fairly general idea and nothing interesting but here is one of the best genre series I have seen, not only It's hilarious, the animation is beautiful and the story is super interesting.
From the beginning it catches you and although you don't know what it's about, little by little it shows a quite interesting panorama of who our group of survivors will be here and all their problems. And believe it or not, the idea of doing 100 things before being a zombie is ...

This story could have had some potential, but unfortunately each episode feels a bit random. But mostly the animation was what ultimately had me drop this anime. The characters were done so bad, staring in directions which don't line up with where the conversation or focus should be. The characters are placed in such strange places where it doesn't feel like they are engaged or part of a conversation, yet they talk as if they are which takes the immersion away. The movements were so terrible, that one wonders whether this is a mix between Visual Novel game style and anime movement. Movement/advances that don't

A lie can have a lasting impact on your life. When it’s a meaningful lie, it enriches the lives of everyone who watches this anime. Your Lie in April is a poignant narrative that can evoke deep emotions and tears. The music throughout the series crescendos beautifully, culminating in a Grand Finale that stays with you forever. The main themes of music, art, friendship, and genuine love take center stage, emphasizing how crucial art is in our lives. It shows us the connections we share through the small details we often miss and teaches us significant lessons. This anime is essential viewing! We all

In short, definitely worth watching!
The power system in this anime is one of the best of the new-gen anime. It's easier to grasp (unlike some anime where you have to pretend that you know the power system). There were many moments where I was taken aback because of the twists. It exceeded whatever expectations I had and came out to be one of my favorite new-gen anime. The world-building is mind-blowing; it's a concept not much used, and if done perfectly, it could be one of the best.
The characters are just awesome; you'll fall in love with them for sure. Each character has a unique ...

Slow build-up to perhaps some of the most incredible scenes in media history.
The fact that most reviews seem to have watched only 4 of the 8 episodes is honestly crazy given the ramp-up in this arc. As if you do that then you are effectivly kneecapping the entire point of watching this season. A season that is, as described, a training arc.
As much as I would love non-stop action, it's these slow moments in anime that build up character and motivation within fights. After this season I am substantially more invested in a significant volume of the cast.

Season 1 of Mushishi was beyond fantastic and going by the release order
You will watch this next like I just did
This special just like season 1 delivers greatly in storytelling, music, animation and atmosphere
but The Shadow that Devours the Sun improves on the first season in terms of scale
and when compared to the first season this special improves not only on the animation but most importantly character design which was kind of lackluster in season 1
I can't talk about much else because it really is best to see for yourself
Mushishi:The Shadow that Devours the Sun is in my book a masterpiece

In short, it's totally worth watching!
ReLIFE is one of those hidden gems of anime. The concept is something new; it is one of those breath-of-fresh-air anime that you don't feel like stopping watching. To be honest, the age thingy took me by surprise. I started it with a SoF rom-com in mind, but boy, was I amazed? It's definitely worth a watch, whether you are a fan of Rom-com as a genre or not.
The plot is immersive, without much cliched stuff, and the characters are just awesome; you won't feel bored even for a moment.

Good show and OMGTHE EASTER EGGS :D
A good show with a LOT of easter eggs. I want to talk about them, because nobody did till now.
The youtube thumbnails from real Vtubers (i saw some Hololive VTUBER over the funniest way to call out school days. All the mentions of real eroge and games like Sausage Legend let my laugh a lot. It is real close to a real vtuber stream at times.
This show is a ride for me. From the cast over some of the gags and situations, it just a feel good show. One of the rare shows where most gags works for me. ...

I really recommend this anime for you to watch at least once in your life!
1. Even though they used full CGI, the staff from Toei Animation still worked on this anime very, very well with smooth animation too. Apart from that, the smooth movements of each character are also because they use Motion Capture and their movements are taken from the real world.
2. At first I thought Togenashi Togeari was a band that only existed in the anime but apparently not. And the anime is also getting better because the songs are good, the vocals are also good even though the music genre might be ...

I'm still trying to figure out why I stuck with this anime for as long as I did. I mean, the premise had some potential - a guy trying to escape his family's toxic legacy by becoming a monk? That's some interesting stuff. But no, instead we get Akemitsu, the most indecisive protagonist I've ever had the misfortune of watching.
He's all about avoiding his dad's womanizing ways, but then he meets some woman and suddenly he's all about "temptation this" and "desire that". Make up your mind, dude! And don't even get me started on the supporting cast - they're about as deep as a ...

Code Geass Is without any doubt The Greatest Piece of fiction to ever exist. Code geass is something that I would easily recommend to anyone with a comprehension on writing and story telling. It has everything that a series need fulfilled perfectly and is beyond any level of masterpiece I have ever seen not only in anime or manga but in any media out there. I seen a lot of hate and criticism towards the series and most of them are repeated petty or absolutely incorrect information about code geass to say its a “flaw” such as how people say “Euphemias death was a plot
