This manga is a personal favorite of mine and while I can acknowledge its flaws. I'm talking about having it take place in just a couple of years or sidelining some cast members, it has many of my favorite scenes. This manga has always been able to hit the emotional beats compared to other series that I'm just not used to. Take for example the newer emerging shonen that focuses on spectacular choreography or cool-looking paneling for fights. My hero uses its stunning artwork and messaging to portray emotional sequences in a way that just hits for me. It feels like a love letter to superhero media in a heartfelt way and thats why I love it so much.
