It's not that long btw. Except if you want to try all the weapons or want the good ending, which is notoriously hard to find (and even harder to complete). Better watch a guide if you want it.

Yes! Do it! Although if the old-school graphics holds you back you can also try Cave Story RS, or if you collect Epic Store giveaways then you probably have the Plus version already (the official remastered PC port).

Both have their advantages, CS+ have higher resolution, a remastered soundtrack (which is unpopular among fans of the original, but I like it anyway) and challenge modes, while CS-rs have widescreen support, shaders, puppy stack support (don't question it, it's important) and it's free. Also it has an Android port but it requires side loading.

Or you can opt for CS-tweaked for all of the above except for challenges, remastered graphics, remastered soundtrack and shaders.

The best version is the Switch version BTW but I don't have a Switch sadly.
