I saw the premise and thought that it would be a cute lil adventure but boy was I wrong.
Art: 10
I started reading this for its artstyle and it didn't disappoint. It's a soft and cute artstyle that fits the story, and it doesn't stop being cute. All the backgrounds and characters are drawn carefully, and the expressions are funny.
Story: 7
While it starts off being a cute lil adventure about a corgi wanting longer legs, it quickly becomes an adventure with higher stakes (no spoilers). The adventure is made fun with a diverse cast of characters which the main characters meet along the way ...

Are you familiar with the overjoyous feelings you get when there's an overused shoujo+hetero trope but they make it yaoi? fabulous. well, this is sth similar but REVERSED. now, you have an overused omegaverse+yaoi trope but they make it hetero. you think, as a fujo, you'd be disappointed? no, buddy. for a trope subversion lover like me, this manga is simply: fabulous.

From the very first page, "Dorohedoro" immerses you in its bleak, gloomy, and almost post-apocalyptic world. This dark setting combined with such a skillfull and distinct artsyle, Dorohedoro is able to show the world perfectly and creating an experience none can replicate. Dorohedoro excels at creating a world brimming with amazing characters that are great on their own, but shines due to their chemistry with each other. Added with its respectable humor and a tolerable amount of gore and violence, Dorohedoro is a great manga for most.

Although, Dorohedoro aren't without its flaws, especially on the storytelling side. Dorohedoro can be challenging to follow at times, ...

The artwork really kept me on hook. I love the romantic style: Bundo working on a piece alone at the basement; the scenes between chapters with him and roses surrounded by books. Overall I'ts pretty stylish and the "dark academia" vibes kinda reminds of death note. The premise of Bundo's ability and how he uses it to solve crimes shine. Runamu Kinashi does a great job showing the reader creative ways this power can be used, subverting the expectations. The cases were nice to follow and, as I'm not the type to try to solve them before the character, many times I've been surprised by ...

I didn’t think I would have loved this manga as much as I did since the story is another, presumably, run-of-the-mill romcom with a dense protagonist and a fmc that’s a copy-paste of every other popular girl romcom story, but this is truly amazing due to its pacing and the more unique personalities of the characters.

Don’t you hate those female leads that never bother rising up the mc and never realize their true feelings until chapter 40? Well, I do too, and thank God this fmc has actual balls and attempts to hang out with the mc, which is really refreshing to read nowadays ...

The art is fantastic, but that's about it.

The story is more or less a loose commentary on capitalism, tackling loneliness, cyclical generational jadedness/rosy-retrospection, having meaning in life, and coping with a loss of said meaning - providing a look into the "real" inner workings of the manga/entertainment industry.

Overall, the protagonist just fills the aching void in his soul with "the pleasures of the flesh" for like half the narrative. Most of the other characters are just concerned about preserving their professions - as you'd expect of any self-loving professional or anybody for that matter.

I think there's very little payoff for reading it beyond becoming needlessly ...

Im just with a simple mission (Short version): No. It doesnt justify bullying neither is a kink about it. Nagatoro (character) has a personality which is to be annoying and Nagatoro (the manga) has something no other romcom I have watched: tangible and real growth. These are 2 KIDS learning about life and love. It has the right length. No more cliffhanger of the cliffhanger to go for weird unnecesary plot twist or no actual "advance" in the plot. No more "let me ungrow the characters so I can make it longer". The story is interesting, fun and rewarding. (specially the last chapters when the ...

Gantz is a story that's interesting the whole way through, but it's also painfully bad. It can keep you invested all the way, but not with a great plot and well-written characters, but constantly shifting, interesting plot-points that are dropped as often as they are introduced, elements that allude to deeper concepts and meanings that are never explored to a satisfying degree, admittedly high quality drawings and tons of lazy "fan service". Some spoilers ahead:

In Gantz, upon dying, some people are transported a special room, where they are assigned missions to hunt aliens and earn points to be revived. It's introduced as a fairly straightforward ...

A diabolically annoying isekai mc stuck in the medieval ages (with magic and 💩).

Let me explain. Imagine you have the power of the great Soviet Union Avtomat Kalashnikova (Ak-47) and all you do is underestimate yourself with naiveness and overthinking.

I swear, this story wants me to personally beat up the main character, the are the most dumbest trash booga booga minded character I have yet to encounter, and to really make my point, I would consider any generic isekai protagonist to be more competent this this horrendous “thing”.

Captain Momo's Secret Base is for sure an interesting read. If you're a fan of existentialism in space, cats, alcoholism and cute girls, you're in for a treat! I personally really enjoyed it, being a huge fan of Tsuruta's work already and generally enjoying these types of manga. However, not everybody may enjoy this story for a few reasons, mainly one being that there is nudity and softcore porn throughout 98% of it, which I didn't see much warning for anywhere, but maybe that's just my experience. If you're the type of person to be embarrassed by that sort of thing, I suggest reading where ...

Another cheater/returner/game story. Random event pops up and MC solves it instantly because he's a cheater... wow just amazing. Absolutely nothing about this story stands out from the hundreds of other similar stories. Every line of dialogue: "I recognize this event. I knew this event would happen. This is different from the novel. The event is happening too soon" repeat x1000. MC comes across as a jerk because he knows everything and yet has to act stupid in front of everyone. Everything that's interesting for the viewer is boring for the MC. The action scenes are boring and forgettable because <insert random super power here>.

This is arguably one of the best yuri fluff works you could ever read. This fluffiness creates a tingling, bubbling sensation somewhere in your heart. And it's not boring or repetitive by any stretch.

I could call it a series of one-shots set in a shared universe, but basically, the entire first volume is a set of several stories segueing into the next one. They all are about happy yuri marriages, obviously set in an alternative Japan where same-sex marriages are legal. The second volume continues the storylines that started in the first one and adds a few new characters.

I'll keep this short and spoiler free: you need to read this manhwa. TL;DR at bottom

Story: Very interesting premise that stays captivating from start to finish. A lot of manhwas feel like a train on fire during their second half - not only is [Kill the Villainess] interesting at the start, I'd say it gets even more intense towards the end. I do have to warn you though - don't expect this story to be all rainbows and butterflies. It's a rather grim and heart wrenching read for the most past. I guarantee though that you'll love the ending.

This one made me cry more than a few times, it's strenght is on their character dialogue that it was perfectly written to hit where it really needs to hit, but it a really soft and tender way. Weird experience for sure.

Sadly it's art is sometimes not on par but it's generally okay. A panel could really hit hard or feel very bland. Still, the art was a great company to the god-like dialogues.

This is kind of Ecchi-all-the-way-chapters, and "only-couple-own-world" manga or, basically, "we-dont-give-a-damn-and-this-world-is-ours" manga.

The manga is kind of boring but curious. It is all about the one single couple where the man that always strong-heart, strong-patience and horny-and-xxx-carving man, and fight for his love, where the woman, his cousin, is childish, easy-going, easily-to-get-attached-to-any-man, and always think herself. The art is very clean and well illustrated, The story starts off a bit slow-paced but draws you in once the MC starts to grasp the concepts behind running a restraunt and learning how to interact with and prepare food for the deceased. The variouos stories of the deceased are engaging, rich with emotion and are explored through the perspective of the MC.
There is a clear sense of progression and the pacing is done well, stories in this have brought me to tears multiple times as well as made me smile through the different heartwarming and saddening aspects they contain.

This series has significant problems. The pacing is horrific, and the characters are completely unlikable. The beginning is a boring mix of trivial school drama and MMA wiki dumps. Nothing of significance happens until around volume 5 and by then the series is basically over with. What's fascinating about this series is that EVERY character is unlikable and the MC is essentially the villain. Typically with sports manga you have some underdog type character which the reader can relate to, but here we have nothing. I would actually describe this series as the opposite of Hajime no Ippo which has great pacing and great characters.

This manga is a personal favorite of mine and while I can acknowledge its flaws. I'm talking about having it take place in just a couple of years or sidelining some cast members, it has many of my favorite scenes. This manga has always been able to hit the emotional beats compared to other series that I'm just not used to. Take for example the newer emerging shonen that focuses on spectacular choreography or cool-looking paneling for fights. And so it comes to an end one of the greatest shounen ever. At least that's what I would like to say, but now, after it ended, I'm not so sure. It certainly was one of the most popular, to the point it became a cultural phenomenon that transcended manga and anime, like Dragon Ball and Naruto before it. But how good was it after all?

If you want to read about modern cupids who engage in frequent gunfights with each either to arbitrarily decide the love partners of other people, you have come to right place, or did you? I believe the previous sentence summarizes the show pretty well. As matter of fact, it doesn't do it enough justice. Why guns? Murenase Seton Gakuen have a unique story, which reader should not compare by how 'real life' works such as those characters and whole environments. This include like the plot, and how's un-logically characters works on this story. The story is quite well-written, story slice-of-life like this is really enjoy to read by meantime. I'd rather to read this by time, not try to do 'fast reading' but try to enjoy the story such as how each character developments going. Also, the story is easy to understand. As a massive yuri fan I come across tons of different kinds of yuri, but i'm almost always surprised at how the age gap sub genre is always taken seriously by the stories I come across for yuri. At first I thought maybe I'd just been lucky here and there, but the consistency still surprises me. The emotions are relatable in terms of standard relationships and most the what you'd read is more geared to being wholesome and fluffy. Instead of judging the characters you just want them to be happy despite the unrealistic circumstances.

All right, first things first, this manga isn't for everyone. I write this assuming the author was conscious of their decision and wrote the story they wanted to tell regardless. But that decision means a lot of people will not enjoy this manga for what it is: a subversion of the classic misfit trope (more pronounced during the first arc) that for quite a while now hadn't seen a fresh take. Author might have been a little too bold coming up with their protagonists though, pushing away a lot of readers, no doubt.

Great Comedic Ecchi-Classic and Modern Style Manwha

I was looking for dungeon manwha, that similar to Solo Leveling, but I felt so grateful and lucky found this one. This manwha is soo unpredictable and suprisingly funny, with semi-uncensored ecchi moments (you will get hard or wet tho).

Gentle and elegant is how I would describe this manga series. The story details how our main character, Aleksander - often referred to by the author as him- meets a blind girl, Emma -referred to as her- and how they slowly develop their relationship with each other. The manga is set up kinda like a gag manga in terms of chapter style and length. Each chapter is mostly just a short interaction between the two, these interactions are largely unrelated though there is a linear progression of time. If you want to see an upsetting, dramatic, yet realistic story of a boy understanding life despite trauma and confusion, this would be a good read.

“WHAT THE F*CK AM I READING”
