The artwork really kept me on hook. I love the romantic style: Bundo working on a piece alone at the basement; the scenes between chapters with him and roses surrounded by books. Overall I'ts pretty stylish and the "dark academia" vibes kinda reminds of death note. The premise of Bundo's ability and how he uses it to solve crimes shine. Runamu Kinashi does a great job showing the reader creative ways this power can be used, subverting the expectations. I didn’t think I would have loved this manga as much as I did since the story is another, presumably, run-of-the-mill romcom with a dense protagonist and a fmc that’s a copy-paste of every other popular girl romcom story, but this is truly amazing due to its pacing and the more unique personalities of the characters.

Don’t you hate those female leads that never bother rising up the mc and never realize their true feelings until chapter 40? Well, I do too, and thank God this fmc has actual balls and attempts to hang out with the mc, which is really refreshing to read nowadays ...

The art is fantastic, but that's about it.

The story is more or less a loose commentary on capitalism, tackling loneliness, cyclical generational jadedness/rosy-retrospection, having meaning in life, and coping with a loss of said meaning - providing a look into the "real" inner workings of the manga/entertainment industry.

Overall, the protagonist just fills the aching void in his soul with "the pleasures of the flesh" for like half the narrative. Most of the other characters are just concerned about preserving their professions - as you'd expect of any self-loving professional or anybody for that matter.

I think there's very little payoff for reading it beyond becoming needlessly ...

Im just with a simple mission (Short version): No. It doesnt justify bullying neither is a kink about it. Nagatoro (character) has a personality which is to be annoying and Nagatoro (the manga) has something no other romcom I have watched: tangible and real growth. These are 2 KIDS learning about life and love. It has the right length. No more cliffhanger of the cliffhanger to go for weird unnecesary plot twist or no actual "advance" in the plot. No more "let me ungrow the characters so I can make it longer". The story is interesting, fun and rewarding. (specially the last chapters when the ... pieces move to allign). Just read it. Period. Trust me.

But let me justify a little my reasoning here (Long version)
Bullying is wrong and no one should never say its not, but so is to blindy attack bullies or judging a story/people without the maturity to properly understand all the complexity behind it. Calling everything bullying is so childish, like sure we have to reduce violent behaviors as much as possible and never justify them but Nagatoro is a dukin child with a background, she simply behaves like that. Judging a kid for being annoying another with adult morale compass/understading is so stupid and irresposible. Like dealing with kids is hard for a reason: kids are fragile, immature, very unconcious (specially of themselves), ALL of them and most of the times they dont really understand what they are doing and is just subconcious answers to stimulation. In other words: a response to experiences in an attempt to survive (again brain, subconcious). (in this case she liked someone quiet and didnt knew how to interact with him). Most kids simply have a relationship in their families that leads to violent behavior (or joking TOO much) as a "normal thing" (mostly by CONFUSING things for example context or lvl of intimacy with the other (not sexual...)) or have traumatic childhoods but let us leave that to the professionals ok?.

I was one of the first kids (uh maybe also the second). I never got to extremes so dont get me wrong, I was like Nagatoro but different obviously, Im a man with male friends (when I got closer to girls as friends I changed a lot), Violence was the normal male violence in a male group, I got punched too but I often got too far since I didnt knew well when was enough. I have a strong personality shadowed by insecurity and fear (crippling fear). I had to change a lot to not lose my friends (which was very closed around my 14) and u know what people forget to talk in these topics? Humans can change, and for the better. My friends forgave my mistakes as they saw my change, wasnt perfect neither fast but I did it. I apologize and tried to be better. I have now friends with 13+ years of friendship at my 26 and have probably the most healthy friends. We still insult each others but the thing is we know when is "too far" and we simply dont cross it. We also reduced a lot the language. Since we are so aware how we are suffering adulthood most conversations go to "you can do it dont give up". And when it matters we are there for each others. None of us is perfect but that is the point in human relationships. What love often is about (and why love is so tricky).

Also as a side note people really confuse bullying from just personality. Bullying can only truly be considered bullying when gets out of control (being permanent, segregating, being targeted towards 1 person. etc etc etc). Seriously, I feel like some people reviewing never had IRL friends because I have yet to know people not behaving in certain ways that are so often called "bullying" (Hell Im sure some of the ones crying about bullying are more toxic than the people they point with their fingers...) I cannot but have the feeling the pointing out the "fetish" are immature people that simplify things beucase of ignorance. Nagatoro definitely was too much at first dont get me wrong but the thing is since the beggining she has clear limits (and once again she is a kid that if u read the manga u will understand more about this). The people in the relationship also matter way more people understand. We can tolerate different levels of things. There is a reason why some people can find us funny and others hate us. And I will be clear, the first moments in the anime were PAINFUL. I have a huge problem with my past, I hate myself in that regard. Im sensitive and emphatetic but was a child with a harsh childhood. So seeing the reflection on some of my behaviors made genuinely feel itchy at some times ,I even thought dropping it but someone I value their opinion said this was incredible good. HE WAS NOT WRONG.

I want to avoid spoileres so just read it. Dont listen to the immature angry kids in the reviews. Yeah Nagatoro is not for everyone so u can dislike her, but she is a perfect match for the prota which is how human relationships work. The story is beatiful, has growth and ends when it has to.

And as a side side note a fun story of mine: When I was at the worst moment in my friendship (same guys) and I felt like I was the shittiest. The mother of one of them approach me "because she wanted to talk with me". I shitted myself expecting the worst... She THANKED ME because her son was talkin a lot more and she felt he was more secure and brave to talk his mind. Yup. My violent and annoying attitude made my friend to have to "adapt" to respond to me. He actually became smarter in many ways to bother me or win in the games we played (I was faster and stronger in general). And I have no doubt people can say I bullied this friend. Now at ours 26 we love each other like brothers, he has been the most supporting of my male friends with my depression and always encourage me to stop being afraid. So yeah I feel I have some sort of right to talk about this whole debate.

Gantz is a story that's interesting the whole way through, but it's also painfully bad. It can keep you invested all the way, but not with a great plot and well-written characters, but constantly shifting, interesting plot-points that are dropped as often as they are introduced, elements that allude to deeper concepts and meanings that are never explored to a satisfying degree, admittedly high quality drawings and tons of lazy "fan service". Some spoilers ahead:

In Gantz, upon dying, some people are transported a special room, where they are assigned missions to hunt aliens and earn points to be revived. It's introduced as a fairly straightforward ... death game type manga, but as I understand it, Gantz was one of the first to use this concept, so credits where it's due. While this mission structure is fairly formulaic, there's enough creativity in the alien designs and action, to keep it feeling fresh. Because of this structure, characters are constantly introduced and killed off, the problem is that very few characters are well-written, so at best, the deaths serve as shock value, while in other places it can even feel comical. The main character, Kei gets some decent character development, and there's maybe 3 or 4 other male characters who have some nice writing, but all the others are quite one-dimensional, including all the girls and women.

The first female lead, the 15 year old Kishimoto was transported to the room by attempting to commit suicide, but it turns out she actually lived, and the one transported is essentially a clone of her original body, so now there's 2 of her walking around. Do we get to explore the mental state of a suicidal teenager who returns as a fake copy of herself? No, but we do see her naked body a lot, and she does get sexually harassed and assaulted, including by Kei. Then there's an adult woman, who over the course of a single night, has sex with and falls in love with our 15 year old hero. After them, we get Reika, who exists for the fan service of a sexy, popular girl to falling in love with and chasing the main character, and so the author gets to draw the same girl with big boobs naked for the chapter covers. Tae, who ends up with the protagonist in the end, is really the only girl approaching a personality, but you can't really say more about her other than that she's shy, socially awkward, likes to draw and is in love with Kei. There's also Tonkotsu, who gets some brief, but interesting stuff, so if you mesh all the girls together, you might get a single personality out of them, but most of their characterisation just boils down to which male character they completely fall in love with over a couple of hours.

The fan service doesn't just boil down to the treatment and depiction of the women though, but also the main character. While he does get some decent development like I mentioned before, but a large part of his characterisation is just "guy who is a loser in real life is actually a super cool guy, saving the world and getting the girls" type wish fulfilment. Because of all the fan service, it often feels like you're reading the author's self insert wish-fulfilment and thinly veiled fetish, instead of the plot he's creating.

And speaking of the plot, there's a lot of points that are either dropped completely or are completely shallow in how they are explored. The whole cloning/copy element is left unexplored, even when Kei himself is the one who gets a copy made of him, since it's just there to be fan service, where he gets to be with his modest high school girlfriend, and the sexy, famous idol at the same time. Vampires are introduced as adversaries, who are in cahoots with the aliens, but their whole plot gets dropped completely. Kei is presented as cheating on Tae by going on a date with Reika, but her memories of that get erased and they never have to resolve the conflict. At the end, characters get to ask godlike entities about the nature of the world and humanity, and the things they say are treated as this huge emotional moment, with characters having outbursts and breaking down, but the things they're actually saying are fairly surface-level, that most teenagers have as shower thoughts.

The thing Gantz is best at, is how it looks, although it's not without its issues either. Character designs are quite good, there is some same-face syndrome, but that's not a huge deal most of the time. The alien/monster designs are amazing, and the author has a great sense of drawing of drawing unsettling, creepy and outright scary expressions on them - to the point I'd definitely read a completely horror-focused manga from him, if he ever made one, despite thinking Gantz was bad. The backgrounds are apparently made in 3D first, characters get placed into it, and then the drawing are made based on that. This creates a unique feeling of the environment, that I haven't seen from any other manga. It's mostly good, but there are times when it's hard to make out what's happening, with the black clothes the characters are wearing on the darker, more shaded backgrounds. The action can also be hard to follow, the motions and impacts are a bit clunky.

Despite its many flaws, Gantz can keep you reading all the way through. Maybe it's the possibility that just one of the interesting questions it presents will be answered, or maybe it's just for the sheer absurdity of it all, which did make me laugh out loud, especially in the first half. It's not a story with a great plot, characters or themes, but if you can turn off your brain and indulge in the fan service, you'll probably come out liking it. People who think gore, violence, nudity, sex and surface-level questions about the nature of humanity are deep and profound on their own, without the necessity of good writing to expand upon any of them, will likely also enjoy it a lot. So I think it will continue as a relatively popular work, through it all.

Captain Momo's Secret Base is for sure an interesting read. If you're a fan of existentialism in space, cats, alcoholism and cute girls, you're in for a treat! I personally really enjoyed it, being a huge fan of Tsuruta's work already and generally enjoying these types of manga. However, not everybody may enjoy this story for a few reasons, mainly one being that there is nudity and softcore porn throughout 98% of it, which I didn't see much warning for anywhere, but maybe that's just my experience. Another cheater/returner/game story. Random event pops up and MC solves it instantly because he's a cheater... wow just amazing. Absolutely nothing about this story stands out from the hundreds of other similar stories. Every line of dialogue: "I recognize this event. I knew this event would happen. This is different from the novel. The event is happening too soon" repeat x1000. MC comes across as a jerk because he knows everything and yet has to act stupid in front of everyone. Everything that's interesting for the viewer is boring for the MC. The action scenes are boring and forgettable because <insert random super power here>.

This is arguably one of the best yuri fluff works you could ever read. This fluffiness creates a tingling, bubbling sensation somewhere in your heart. And it's not boring or repetitive by any stretch.

I could call it a series of one-shots set in a shared universe, but basically, the entire first volume is a set of several stories segueing into the next one. They all are about happy yuri marriages, obviously set in an alternative Japan where same-sex marriages are legal. The second volume continues the storylines that started in the first one and adds a few new characters.

This one made me cry more than a few times, it's strenght is on their character dialogue that it was perfectly written to hit where it really needs to hit, but it a really soft and tender way. Weird experience for sure.

This series has significant problems. The pacing is horrific, and the characters are completely unlikable. The beginning is a boring mix of trivial school drama and MMA wiki dumps. Nothing of significance happens until around volume 5 and by then the series is basically over with. What's fascinating about this series is that EVERY character is unlikable and the MC is essentially the villain. Typically with sports manga you have some underdog type character which the reader can relate to, but here we have nothing. I would actually describe this series as the opposite of Hajime no Ippo which has great pacing and great characters.

“This is the story of how I became the greatest hero.”

And so it comes to an end one of the greatest shounen ever. At least that's what I would like to say, but now, after it ended, I'm not so sure. It certainly was one of the most popular, to the point it became a cultural phenomenon that transcended manga and anime, like Dragon Ball and Naruto before it. But how good was it after all?

Horikoshi's work is the manga version of a western comic book. And yet it was unrestricted by canon, by the weight of a hundred years of previous stories and expectations: ... it was free to be whatever it wanted to be, to kill any character the story needed to die, to end whenever the author wanted. These are the shackles of mainstream comics: to be eternal and unchanging, to sell the same story over and over. And these shackles are absent here, giving this story potential.

That is, if Horikoshi actually committed to his ideas. From the get-go, the concept of the story changed from “Deku will become a hero despite being quirkless through his own efforts” to “Deku is given a handout by the greatest hero and inherits the most powerful quirk in the world, because there can't be quirkless heroes”. The story then proceeds to contradict itself at this point many times — quirkless heroes pop into the story in crucial moments, proving it *is* actually something possible. And Deku has no agency in his own story; his power-ups are not earned, but given.
Horikoshi then promoted popularity polls for his characters, and (in my opinion) he changed the very core of the story to accommodate these results. The most beloved characters were moved to the center of the plot, while the unpopular characters were sidelined. This is not how one is supposed to write a story. There is a quote by George R.R. Martin that is very fitting here: “Art is not a democracy. People don’t get to vote on how it ends.” And it's basically what happened here.
Another instance where the author doesn't commit is killing his characters. Numerous times, when some character is on the verge of death, Horikoshi regrets it and brings the character back for no reason, in detriment of the story, and in some cases to never be used again anyway. Refusing to kill your characters lowers the stakes considerably. The potential to be free of this classic comic book flaw is wasted if you refuse to kill them anyway.
At the end of the story, it is obvious to the reader that Horikoshi is burned out. His chapters become shorter and shorter, and it's clear he is beelining to the end. It is understandable, given it's his first long-running manga, and it's also a weekly one at that. But the ending is mild at best, and that's just unfortunate.

Some other observations and opinions:
• The story could've greatly benefited from a time skip.
• The author has a strange obsession with drawing fingers that creeps its way into the story and becomes more and more prevalent. This manga could just be called Fingers.
• None of the villains motivations really make any sense, except Dabi and Stain.
• Despite being a shounen with a ton of teenage characters, Horikoshi can explore the world and themes much more with the pro heroes and villains than he can with the students.
• Mineta must be one of the worst characters ever in shounen. He is a pervert, but that in itself is not a problem; the problem is being a pervert is his entire character. There is nothing more to him. And it doesn't stop there, he doesn't simply have a bad (or absent) personality, every single aspect of this character is lame: his power, design, costume, everything.
• All Might is the heart of this story and is present in almost all of its best moments. His absence is sorely missed. Curiously, All Might's design is one of the few instances where Horikoshi actually drew a line in the sand and refused to alter it, and look how that turned out. Imagine if he did that more.
• The art, like in most manga, improves over time, and becomes much more detailed.
• The character design ranges from great (All Might, Uraraka, Jiro) to very bad (Mineta, those meme anthropomorphic characters). The female characters usually have very good design, which is a shame because they are all wasted at the end of the day. They never really get a chance to shine, their characters are sidelined by the author and never get closure. Uraraka's arc and her relationship with Deku are abandoned and forgotten.
• Deku really gets the short end of the stick in the end. Even his quote about becoming the greatest hero ends up being misleading.

So, after this rant, you can only expect me to conclude “Yeah, it's terrible” at this point. But no, this is not a bad manga overall. It's a solid shounen, with classic tropes that work well. And, like a good comic book, it has good action, memorable heroic moments, and great one-liners. It's very popular for a reason. I only listed the reasons that, in my opinion, sadly kept it from being great. I rate it disappointing out of 10.

After reading three chapters of this manga, I decided to drop it right there and then.

If you want to read about modern cupids who engage in frequent gunfights with each either to arbitrarily decide the love partners of other people, you have come to right place, or did you? I believe the previous sentence summarizes the show pretty well. As matter of fact, it doesn't do it enough justice. Why guns? Why would the cupids shoot at each other as if it was just a normal Tuesday? Why this and that... A lot of things just does not make sense in this manga and ... maybe it will get explained down the road, but this was not even the worst part about the story.

For one, the guns are one of the big selling points of this manga. I am not a particular fan of this genre of things, but the authors introduces these gun fights in the most anticlimatic of ways possible. Small disagreement over the cupids' target? Guess we have to shoot it out to sort the matters out. Oh and what happens if your stray bullet hits a random person in the background (because yes, it is part of the mechanics)? Too bad for them, not my business and they can go screw themselves. The author does try to address this point, but if you decide to read it and find out his solution for the problem, maybe you will be thinking the same as me: what a lazy way to address a fundamental problem in your manga.

Characters
The 4 main cupids that form the team of this manga are not yet introduced properly in the manga, but with how little we know about them, I can already say I am not gonna like them. There is that one rowdy, over energetic girl that causes 90% of the fights, constantly overstepping her boundaries and acting as a sort of bully. Worst part, she gets treated as a fellow teammate by the other cupids, which makes it difficult for me to swallow. The MC's personality is still not hashed out as of yet, but she is meek and rather cowardish, and at the same time can make some pretty level-headed choices. If we were stricting evaluating the manga based on the MC, I would actually give it a decent score of 8. Too bad the side characters ruins the dynamics for me.

Plot
The plot is straight up an attempt by the author to gut the readers deep in the heart, right of the bat, as he is still making the introductions. The crueling and heart wrenching developments are not up my valley in the first place, and if you combine those with the spontaneuos and up beat gun fights that happen for no good reason, it completedly destroys its significance to me as a reader.

Overall, a 2 out of 10.

All right, first things first, this manga isn't for everyone. I write this assuming the author was conscious of their decision and wrote the story they wanted to tell regardless. But that decision means a lot of people will not enjoy this manga for what it is: a subversion of the classic misfit trope (more pronounced during the first arc) that for quite a while now hadn't seen a fresh take. Author might have been a little too bold coming up with their protagonists though, pushing away a lot of readers, no doubt.

What people coming to this manga without knowing much about it beforehand should ... keep in mind, in my opinion, is that you'll be seeing the story of the people who are usually side characters in most light novels and manga we encounter out there. Here, the main protagonist and his friends do not start belonging to the group of awkward kids who struggle to communicate and go through school life dreading every single social interaction that common Japanese authors seen so fixated on.

What you find instead is a protagonist who is articulate, confident, talented, and—perhaps the nail in the coffin for a lot of readers—self aware. There's a reason characters with these traits are usually side characters: it's really hard to create engagement with the average reader. After all, rooting for someone who appears to have everything already figured out kinda feels silly. Not to mention the fact most people come to manga and such as a means of escapism, and, unfortunately, in this day and age many believe that means leaving your brain on stand by mode.

Now, I won't say this story is the next best thing to come out of the East and will blow you away with its fresh take on the genre. It won't. The dialogue is pretty on the nose and the story beats are, more or less, the same you read before on other manga, even if here they are used to make you question your perception of other people's struggles, instead of make you sympathize with the common underdog we are used to seeing. And here lies the main hurdle the author faces with this type of story: too many harsh truths written on a page make most people stop reading, rather than entice them to continue reading and reassess their idea of things.

For some time now my friends and I have become bored with the depiction of the same misfit character that changes only in appearance between one manga to the next—if that—, so this subversion was very welcomed to us. Author seems to have set out to explore what goes on beneath the surface of the "perfect teenager", but not in a gloomy way, as other stories somewhat tried before. Here we see a protagonist who not only embraces his ego but is also confident this is how life should be lived. Bad for attracting readers unable to question their preconceptions, but really fun for lovers of character building who were aching to get away from the staleness of the high school setting genre. As I said though, some harsh truths are written right on the first few chapters, which I believe was the author way of making sure people understood early what this story was about, and chose to stay only if they were interested in it.

Past all that I felt needed to be explained, this manga offers an interesting view on which types of struggles people who seem to be doing well in life go through. There's some exaggeration here and here, some decisions from both the protagonist and his misfit friend from the first arc that are head scratchers—this is manga after all—, but overall I have been enjoying how the author bring these situations to the page. If you're someone who is able to empathize with characters not for their difficulties but for how they handle them, was sort of fed up with the weak character vibe of the month trend we had going on, and can handle the harsh truths the author will make you read right from the get go, I highly recommend this manga. Otherwise, stay away.

I think that this was an enjoyable read. Lots of betrayal and mystery and most of the main points get tied up at the end. That said, I do think there are some problems, mostly within the last 20 chapters or so. I won't spoil specifics but I will say that there are things that just don't make sense at the end. Things are revealed that explain parts of the main plot, but many of these explanations raise new questions that go unanswered.This ranges from illogical reasons for people doing things, to poorly explored/explained characters and phenomenon.

This review was originally written for the manga but since I drag the light novel into it aswell I think it will be relevant.
TL;DR: It's decent. Read it if you like otome game scenarios with a male mc and a twist.

This story is your usual otome game setting, very similar to most villainess manga/manwha, the twist being that the main character here is a random male character generally unrelated to the original story. This has also been done before but not as often and therefore still feels fairly fresh in concept. It starts pretty early on in the life of the mc and ... it shows him preparing for the future by securing good equipment, skills and money. The characters are nothing special, pretty much just exactly the archetypes they are set up to be, there are some interesting developments later on with both the mc and Amy (the actual mc of the otome game), but for the most part the characters are pretty two dimensional.

I would say that there are two major parts to the novel. The first 50 chapters or so are your average otome game villainess twist story, where it culminates in the condemnation of the villainess and the mc steps up to save her. The second part is extremely politics focused. Otome game stories aren't exactly strangers to politics, so it's not exactly outside of expectation, but it's honestly quite a chore to sit through. I do not believe that the characters were developed enough for me to truly care about many of the major developments. A few plot points are basically just thrown aside and the main character has some things happen to him that only affect him in that moment and are completely disregarded after. I think that this tonal shift falling flat is indicative of the type of story this is. It's like how most isekai manga only thrive on concept alone and that's also why you see the same first 5 chapters for basically all of the mediocre ones. It's just a gotcha moment leading up to and slightly after the point that the mc is reincarnated, gets overpowered and maybe even betrayed for the edgy ones, joins the guild or goes to school, shows of for a bit and suddenly all story direction is lost. In this case that moment would be the condemnation. And since it's built around this moment the rest feels empty and just added on the keep the story going. I must give credit where credit is due and say that the second half does not feel directionless. But the whole world, power system and the characters are just so poorly developed that it does not matter.

Overall I think that the first half is surprisingly above average, sadly the second part is not great. I do see some potential for the manga to fix some of my issues with the second part of the novel, however I honestly doubt it will even get that far, and if it does it will most likely not be translated. So all in all, read it if you like this type of story, but other than that I would pick something else.

The author manages to fill in 200 chapters with constant pedophilia, rape, violence and countless other fucked up shit.
The comedy is bad, and I cant believe the sort of ideas it fed japanese kids back when it was publishing. How this averages an 8.88 on MAL is beyond me. If you argue it tries to criticise all these fucked up things by making the characters normalise them, you have an enormous copium addiction.

I like villainess stories. I think that the premise inherently allows for a deeper exploration of characters than most shounen/seinen stories do. That being said this villainess manga, which are not nearly as common as villainess manhwa mind you, trades in this unique aspect of the premise in favour of subversion. Here the original villainess comes back to her body after the saint like transmigrator is betrayed. From here on the villainess wants to do right by the transmigrator and take revenge. This manga aims to combine the villainess setting with the ever popular kingdom building isekai subgenre. And while it is moderately successful at ... doing this I do think that some of the aspects of the story are a bit lacking.

The main character, aka the original villainess called Remilia, is a pretty likeable protagonist exactly because she isn't overly generous or kind. She does good things mostly because she wants to set the stage for, and keep up the reputation of the transmigrator, Emi. While she appears like the typical dense saint like character to others, she herself is very much aware of what is going on and is pulling the strings behind the scenes. Sadly our antagonist, the original saintess Pina, doesn't have nearly as much of an interesting dynamic. She is cartoonishly evil in an irredeemably annoying way. It is clear that she is written like this so that the reader dislikes her and wants to root for the protagonist, but the end result is just that her character lacks depth. Because of the nature of her character Pina's goons, aka the original love interests, don't get any chances to shine either. This lack of depth for the antagonists has really sucked out most of the joy of this series. There is no reason to be interested in the politics or stakes because it will all work out for the protagonist anyhow. And any revenge taken against the cardboard cut outs we call antagonists in this story will just feel empty and boring at the end of the day.

The main bulk of the story so far is focused on the village that Remilia sets up and the way they gain power thorugh trade and political warfare. It is executed competently though I must admit that I am personally not the biggest fan of the genre itself. The art of the manga is generally quite good. It is a monthly series so there is a quality to the chapters that is definitely better than most weekly series. Sometimes there are truly breath taking panels with unique enemy design or very creative background choices. Sadly action is not really a main focus of this story, yet atleast, and as such these highlights don't seem to be making a comeback.

Overall I would say this manga is pretty solid. I personally expected a much more impressive story though, considering the 8.26 rating it currently has on this site. In my opinion while it has its highlights the current product is little more than a very competently made isekai manga, which I suppose only goes so far in being able to differentiate itself from the others in the genre.
